Poker Heaven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/11
I love the poker room and the promotions. Free room for 7 hours of play. The tournament is very affordable. Ask for Edward the general manager. He will hook you up if your new to the casino and hotel.

Unbelievable!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/10
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Too tire to shower that night I when to bed. In the morning noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned as it still had used shampoo/gel bottles on the tub, hair in it, mildew in the corners and the floor had not been mopped. I noticed that dust was in all the corners of the room and the floor had not been vacuumed. The been in my my aunt’s room was so old and worn that when she moved to the other side she rolled back into its worn spot. There were no face towels in the backroom, and the air conditioner was broke. Maintenance told her she need to be moved to another room. After returning from our day we went to the front desk to get her “reserved” room we were told by the security guard – who didn’t know anything and couldn't do anything- that the service clerk was sick and went home. There was no one to change her room until 12:00 am- two hours; she ever got a room changed. When we asked for a refund the next day was told that we shouldn’t have been given the rates that we had. Also, the ice machine didn’t work on the 8th floor, had to go down to sixth, coffee pot in the room but no coffee, sink drained slowly. I guess the only thing that we liked about this hotel was the Samoan church bingo.

ONLY if I have to , NOT !
By Myhunyboy, 7/22/08
Called 3 weeks ahead for reservations, the woman took them , gave me res.#'s for 3 diff. weekends to be spent at hotel all in July of '08 back to back, I get to the oh so not friendly front desk and gave my res.# to the woman and as she pondered the computer screen asked if I have reservations, (yes) was my ans. I gave her the res. #, she didn't find it, called manager. he told her to give me a room anyway, get the rm. at Military discount rate, oh goodie. Valet parking handed me my keys next morning and pointed to where my vehicle was parked, (not Vegas) or any upscale hotel valet parking, My car was marked (tagged) as kids call it, were the security cameras on? I made a report about the car markings and the valets' handing me my keys, instead of retrieving the vehicle , no biggie, but the next weekend, Yes I went back, (had to) near where I needed to be that weekend, manager. gave me grief about the Military discount this time and said the desk clerk that gave it to me last time was mistaken to do it,HMM?, Yep, you guessed it, I went back for the 3rd. and LAST time and for the same room. I had the weekend before, I paid double(why) because the manager said so, that's why, no more Military discounts, why? because the manager said so. (WE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS), I don't think so, I say ! As for the clean rooms, NO way, Filth, filthy, filthy! Service, ask for clean towels, only if you can wait, till you check out. I'll never know. Need I go on? I have more.

Would never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/11/08
First impression was okay. All down hill from there. Was given rm 705. The carpet was filthy on the entire floor and worse in the room; the TV remote did not work properly. We tried turning down the volume and it changed channels. Manual efforts did not work. The sink was clogged; it took forever for the water to drain. There was in picture in the bathroom hanging upside down. The ice machine on the floor did not work. I was told to go to the 8th fl. The power went out three times the first night. For two days upon our return from an outing, the card keys did not work. The second time around I was told entry was blocked because they didn't accept my credit card. Not one bothered to call me. You'd think they know which CC they take! Had to leave a note requesting that the tub and sink be cleaned. Upon checking out, I was charged for two movies we did not watch. Probably had something to do with the remote! The charge was removed. This was, by far, my worst hotel experience.

OMG!!!!
By jameela, 3/25/08
I could not believe how filthy the bathroom was!! From the tile in the showers to the tile on the floors. Mildew and grime covered the place. I asked for another room but was told they were full. I took a shower wearing flip flops!!! PLEASE, if you are offered room# 616, say no thank you. I would not, could not stay here again.

A pleasant stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/07
I pass thru the area on business from time to time and noticed a great improvement in the outside appearance so I stayed there on my last trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lobby and Casino look great. It could be fabulous with a few finishing touches. The restaurant was OK they have not remolded that area yet. The rooms are decent for the price. (was told they are starting to update the rooms) Wireless internet was easy to use. It is a safe location close to freeway, well lit parking lot, valet if wanted, and a very polite and friendly security staff. I will stay there next I’m in the area.

Definately NOT Vegas... Not even close!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/07
The kids were being watched by the in-laws, and the hubby and I were going to do the deed. We booked our hotel stay at the last minute. With all the choices pulled up on Expedia, this hotel was rated as a three-star hotel. We were definately not looking for what we got. We should have known when we first walked up to the Registration desk. Formica. The service was questionable as the front desk personnel asked us for driving directions to their hotel. That was another thing. The access to the hotel is horrible! We got off the exit, and did not know how to get to their road access. No signs at all! Anyhow, we checked-in since everything was pre-paid through Expedia. Carpet was shot. The smell from years of smoking from the casino filled the air. So we get to our room. It was hot. The air conditioning unit must have been from the 70s. My husband had to push the buttons with force to get it to work. We had to wonder why he room was so noisy. Was the window open? No. The seals or lack thereof seals on the windows were horrible. The room was spacious. The wallpaper bubbling and peeling. Decor was Mexican / Chinese Furniture specials. There was an alarm clock in the room that picked up nothing but spanish stations. The bathroom. Hair dryers blew hot air, but took forever to dry. The towels in the bathroom were in poor condition. We had one fluffy towel, and the rest seemed to have been the same ones for the last 10 years. The shower curtain clung to your skin as you tried to wash since the curtain rod was 12 inches into the tub. I guess for the purpose of the room/bed, it was sufficient. As for coming back,.. I will not. I won't even suggest this hotel to my worst enemy. Try another place.

I like this hotel as result that is located next to the train and a freeway. Its also safe. The people who work there are great. What they need is to remoldel the rooms.

I'll Never go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/19/07
The room was decent, But when I had called for service and it took them over an hour to respond to my call. Then I had gone down to the casino and was abruptly stopped by some rude person asking for money. I had gone to the restaraunt to eat and waited over half an hour for someone to take my order. The food was ok nothing special of this place. I wood not ever go back.
