New Gardena Hotel, Gardena

My husband and I fly in to LA on business 6-8 times a year from Europe. We've stayed at all the luxury chain hotels and always seem to leave disappointed. But NEVER with the New Gardena Hotel. Our flight was delayed at LAX for over 18 hours and all the decent area hotels were booked. We went online and found the New Gardena Hotel and never looked back. They're service is impeccable! The staff is very nice and very helpful... from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. They're all incredible!!! The rooms are very comfortable and always pristine. The security is top-notch! I can't tell you enough how GREAT this place is. We also like the fact that it's in Gardena and away from the insanity of the city. Parking is ample and secure. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance-- from Japanese to Chinese to Continental to Mexican to McDonald's! Every penny paid at this hotel is worth it and more. WE LOVE THE NEW GARDENA HOTEL!!!

They are very convenient hotel, however....their "front desk" does not know what they are doing.... very poor poor poor service and hospitality mind.... never go back there agin

HOTEL IS A HOTBED FOR CRIME. ROOM WAS DIRTY. CARPET WAS DIRTY. HAD TO CHANGE SOCKS EVERYTIME I WALKED ON CARPET

Making reservations was torture! They dont have an 800# and the receptionist hardly spoke english and kept putting me on hold. Wouldnt give me a business rate.

My wife and I stayed here in June 2005 and enjoyed the location, the cleanliness, and the package i.e. the deal included breakfast (except for the weekends). We're looking forward to staying there again in Dec 2006. Sam from New Plymouth, New Zealand

Proximity to everywhere in Southland, Cleaniness, Friendliness, Convinience and Value. It is simply the best value hotel in LA vicinity. Recently installed Internet connection is also a welcom plus.

What a wonderful place to stay! Our room was clean and had everything one expects to find in a Hotel. The pressure in the shower was really good and the layout of the room adjacent to the bathroom is well thought out. I wish we had known about the place earlier, as it was we stayed down the road but bailed because we felt unsafe there. At this Hotel we were greeted in english by nice people. We have family living in the area and will stay here next time we visit. We are from New Zealand.

New Gardena Hotel has very friendly and helpful services. There is a great Japanese-Hawaiian restaurant on the premises called Happa. At the hotel, there is a small swimming pool and driving range for one. The best part of staying at the New Gardena is the location. It's close to some of the best Japanese restaurants. There is a plaza of stores and restaurants across the street. The rooms are kept very clean and spacious. If staying here, I suggest eatting at Happa and also at Spoon House which is on the eastern side of the hotel. It's about a 2 minute walk. The New Gardena has a great complementary breakfast! There is free coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. It's the best you can get and you won't believe that all this is for the price you're paying!
