We were not expecting much considering the price, but the rooms were very clean and the front desk was very friendly and we really enjoyed the visit even though we were further away from the center of Helen than we would have liked. The fridge and microwave were nice to chill the wine and heat the leftovers. Free WIFI was nice too. Gotta say, overall, very good for the value.

Clean rooms, good maid service, desk clerk was friendly and very nice. Good breakfast. Going back in August and plan to stay here at The Econo Lodge Again. Larry Bourne

Our room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly. As of this date, there is nothing amiss at this Econo Lodge.

this place is very nice, the room was more than I expected, it was across the small road from the water slide and tubing , grandmother with two children it was great. We enjoyed the pool it was clean , rooms were clean.the girl at the front desk was sooooo nice and helpful .when we checked out at 11.00 I said we had missed the breakfast she went and got us some juice and muffins.We stayed 2 nights wished we could have stayed 2 more.Our room was large and very nice.

Stayed here for vacation. Carpet was dirty, bathroom not cleaned and sheets were dirty. Customer service non-existent and manager incompetent. We have stayed at many Comfort Inns and this particular one is a disgrace to the chain. Would not recommend.

Our room was nasty and the sheets had not been changed on the bed or the toilet cleaned. We had to change our own sheets!When we addressed this to the staff we were put off for three days due to the "manager not being in." When we finally checked out we were told to call back the next day and we would be issued a credit. Upon calling back, the manager was rude and hateful. He insinuated that because we had used the internet (THEIR website) and gotten such a cheap rate we should not be complaining. He offered a free night to be used Monday thru Thursday and only during certain times of the the year. He would not honor the assistant mgr's offer of the credit. He said that she did not use the word "guarantee" and therefore it would not be honored. Ridiculous!!!

We found the motel to be under remodeling upon our arrival, and by our room it really needed to be. Carpet was worn out, bed lumpy, bath was a mess. Breakfast was NOT, coffee was good. The only staff we had contact with was nice and very helpful with suggestions and directions.

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends

We stayed here in 2006 and plan to stay in 2007. It was the best vacation that we had, in a long time. The rooms were clean the desk clerks are very nice and the breakfast is great !

The room was pretty clean, but breakfast room is not quite satisfactory. Helen is a very nice place to go with a lot of good restaurant and many funny things to do.
