I guess it is NOT Location! Location!! Location!!!
This was the 2-star hotel Priceline choose for me.
If you don't know Peoria, this hotel is hard to find. It looks like it is right off of the interstate, but it isn't. It is hidden in one corner of the property of Northwoods Mall. Once you realize that you really want directions to the mall, and not the hotel, then getting there is easy. And after you are there, then you realize that it actually has good and quick access (except during the Christmas shopping season) to pretty much any place you want to go in Peoria.
My King room was plenty large for 1 or 2 people. It was clean and comfortable. I would have liked a sleep timer on the TV, but not a big deal.
I didn't have my own laptop with me, and the one computer available in the lobby could get busy, but I was able to get on it briefly every day. Obviously it is not intended to be a workstation.
There is a small outdoor pool that I never had time to use. If they had had a hot tub, I probably would found the time, but there is none. Noise from the pool area was disturbing one night. but I never noticed any internal noise from other rooms.
Breakfast was good with a choice of waffles, muffins, cereal, and fruit. Complimentary copies of USA Today was also provided in the breakfast room.
