A hidden treasure on a budget
We went here for our honeymoon and this place was better than we could expect.
We went during the rainy season March 03 - March 10. I would recommend this, it rained one full day and when you are taking a tour around the island you don't get so tired from the Humidity while it is raining and it is warm rain not what I am used to in L.A. which is cold and miserable rain and you can get alot more done since you are not tired from the Humidity. The rest of the days it was clear or cloudy some of the time. I couldn't imagine going during the dry season with no rain to relieve some of the Humidity.

Very attentive and friendly staff.
Everyone speaks English and will do anything to help you during your stay.
Courtesy shuttle to the closest Tourist City of Kuta.
You need to take a taxi back but it is so cheap it is still a great way to get back.
The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food and I would give it a A- (not the best, but how can you complain you are getting it complimentary)
The food for lunch and dinner you pay yourself but this food is OUTSTANDING A+ and really cheap.
This hotel is on the beach - literally you see the surf from the patio, during breakfast, in the pool.
The sunsets on the beach are unparalleled.
The pool is excellent with a bar you can have a snack and drinks poolside.
Loved the choice of breakfast at the buffet or room service breakfast either was complimentary.
There is a business center if you want to pay for internet, a drug store with stuff in case you get sick or forgot something and really reasonable prices, a store to buy clothes and gifts.
I really liked that you can eat 24 hours a day in their restaurant/cafe.
Maid Service is prompt and quick by the time we returned from the breakfast our room was cleaned and fresh complimentary bottled water was available since you don't want to drink the tap water.
They have Air conditioning in each room and with the Humidity it is really appreciated.
There is a TV in the room, I don't know if this is new, but there are only two choices for watching TV in English, there are other channels for German, French, Indonesian, and Japanese.
A really good Safe Deposit Box style Hotel safe in the front keeps your papers, money, and valuables very secure.
Hotel security is always around and being away from other hotels and at the end of a road in a small village it really feels like you are in a very private and exclusive club all to yourself.
There is a massage room if you would like a massage while listening to the ocean.
They have a nice atmosphere poolside where they may play music on a bamboo instrument or perform a Balinese dance if you request it.
They also have nice sunset dinners with music and luau style private dinners.
Really whatever you ask for this hotel can deliver.
If you are looking for paradise without spending a fortune, Bali and this hotel the Grand Bali Sani Suites is a place you should not miss.
Dislike
I really cannot complain about this hotel. They will do anything you want to make your experience great!
The few things that may bother you are just facts of life in Bali.
The beach is not the greatest, it can get alot of driftwood and debris, but the owner of the hotel has his staff cleaning up the beach every so often, and they really work to make it an excellent experience. There is a lifeguard on duty but they of course ask you to swim in the pool instead of the ocean for rip tide and your own safety.
The deluxe (cheapest) rooms could use an update and so could the bathrooms, but for the value they are clean and functional, no frills, just good clean place to sleep, of course like everywhere in Bali you have a gecko in your room as your environmentally friendly pest control and if you want all you have to do is ask and they will remove the gecko. After awhile you will forget he is there.
