Grateful for the help
By Jessica, 3/8/12
I booked a reservation on Marriott's website because I knew this hotel was in a great location for me. Unfortunately, the dates of my trip changed and the hotel didn't have a room available. Even though the hotel was under no obligation to refund my money (I had prepaid to secure a special rate), An took care of me and gave me a full refund. I had to make a couple of calls to make it happen, but it was worth it and I am grateful. Thank you, Marriott, and I will be back!

It's a great place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/11
I absolutely enjoyed my three day stay at this hotel. Restaurants are in walking distance and it only take a couple of minutes to take the a free shuttle bus to the Metro line which is also convenient. All the staff I encountered was very pleasant and accommodating. They help my stay comfortable and very relaxing. Actually, all the shuttle buses in the area for other nearby hotels did not mind dropping you off at Courtyard Marriot if they were going in the same direction. So, if you need a hotel, this is the place to stay. I attended the Martin Luther King Celebration Ceremony in D.C. and afterwards I needed to relax in my king size cozy bed provided by this wonderful hotel!

army ten

Rooms were pretty pricey for what your paying for... No fridge, no microwave, and laundry service was not working. $18.00 a day to park at the hotel was crazy! If your driving to the hotel add the $18.00 a day to your rate. Cable networks did not work ( did not have children networks for kids) Did not have free breakfast..pretty standard for higher end hotels (not here). Also hotel had construction, so if you planned on sleeping in...Goodluck!

awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/22/10
The service was horible. I used miles and they treated me as if I did not pay for the service. I took a friend with me and it was embarassing for me as I said they treated me as if I did not pay for the room. They lied to me and said they had a doubleroom with a sofa bed when I got to hotel no such room even at this hotel.

Lovely stay in this hotel
By Ping, 7/5/08
Got offer from Priceline of this hotel with very interesting price. Stayed for three nights. I love this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always got prompt reply before and during the stay. Walking distance to the subway station but the shuttle bus service is really a great relieve when you are back from an exhausted visiting of downtown DC. The room is so big and very clean and quiet.

Overall, A Good Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/07
I was booked into this hotel via a Priceline bid. Overall, a good place to stay, with clean rooms, great amenities, and attentive service up front. Didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs, so I can't comment on it. My only issue with the hotel is the location, namely in that it is a good 3/4 mile walk from the nearest Metro station. While the hotel has a courtesy shuttle that'll take guests to/from the Metro station or Airport (depending on which one you need to go to), it doesn't run late at night, so you may want to plan accordingly if you're out in DC late at night and end up having to catch the last Metro train back.

I can wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/30/07
The rooms are nice and the van that takes visitors to various locations are great, but, the elevator(s) service weekend of 6/23-24/07 was terrible, 20/30 minute waits, etc. Also, the service at the Grill on Sunday morning was almost nonexisting. I was very surprised.

Thank god we had no regrets!
By Elena, 1/1/07
We meant to booked Marriot Crystal City but by sheer oversight, our booking was confirmed for this hotel instead. The hotel is rather faraway from the Crystal City Metro station but the hotel provides a shuttle service, on request, to ferry its residents to/ from the Metro. Service was excellent & our room was extremely spacious, with a huge king size bed, coffeemaker, ironing board & best of all, FREE wireless internet access. There's really nothing that we can fault for this hotel except that we had to wait quite a while (in the cold) for the shuttle service to ferry us back to the hotel, after a long day visiting the tourist attractions. Overall, we had a gd time & were glad that our oversight didn't dampen our holiday experience in DC.

Excellent!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/14/06
The hotel room is clean and spacious. Parking fee is reasonable ($12 per day). Service is excellent! And the best of all, it's very close to downtown D.C. (about 10 to 15 minute drive). We will definitely stay in this hotel again!
