Has went downhill
We have stayed here several times in the past, but our most recent stay was horrible. I think this hotel cares more about the guests money than they do the guests. For example go try to have 2 or 3 drinks at the 626 bar there, be ready to shell out $50 and if you have your wife with you it will be more like $100 for a couple of drinks for the both of you. Parking is expensive, your patroning thier buisness!! Then charge close to $40 to park (A DAY!) I figure the close to $600 you just spent on the room for 2 days should cover a place to put your car. Point is its ridiculous. Since when does it cost over a thousand dollars to "get away" for 2 days?

Gracious Hosts
By ,
A two-night stay at the Omni was a highlight of this summer's vacation. The location is ideal for enjoying the Mile. The service from all hotel staff is genuinely helpful, with recommendations that better acquainted us with the city. We could not have been more pleased with our experience and will return when visiting Chicago in the future.

Unbeatable customer service
By ,
Excellent view from the room, though the room itself was the least impressive part of the experience. Loved the rooftop sundeck off the swimming pool/jacuzzi area. Four star service at every turn!

slightly disappointed
By ,
Very nice hotel, but maids were shouting while cleaning adjacent rooms and our small suite had NO DRESSERS so we left items on the bookshelves! (plenty of them). Food at buffet was excellent and staff very friendly. Not sure if hotel was worth the $200+ per nite though.

Dirty and unsafe pool, poor customer service
By ,
My daughter and I woke in the morning wanting to go swimming. When we arrived at the pool the water was covered by a white scum. I then attempted to use both of the phones at the pool, one white phone and one emergency red phone, to call the desk. Both were out of service!!!! I am glad there wasn't an emergency. As we were exited the pool area I ran into a hotel employee and told her about the problems and then asked her to call us when the pool was clean.... never heard back.

First Timer
By ,
I was a first timer to Chicago and staying at the Omni hotel just showed all the elegance of staying in a large city. I come from small Beal City MI so it is a huge difference.
