Embassy Suites Cincinnati - RiverCenter (Covington, KY), Covington

I've been to this hotel several times and have always enjoyed the hospitality, service and food. I would highly recommend this hotel especially to families. The complimentary drinks and snacks (around dinner time) kept the hungry kids happy. If that was not enough, you could order a pizza just a few feet away. I will definitely be back.

We chose this hotel because we had a good experience there about 3 yrs ago. We checked into our "nonsmoking" suite and thought it smelled like smoke. We weren't overly concerned, though, until we saw 2 dozen ants crawling around the very dirty bathroom. We were immediately moved to a second room.....there were cigarette ashes in this "nonsmoking" suite and it reeked of smoke. Our 3rd room was tolerable, but the bathroom was still not up to par. The grout in the tile was disgusting so I made sure we all wore shoes in there. It was just a one night stay so we decided to deal with it. The next morning, however, I discovered that several of the bath towels had makeup stains on them (I hope they were stains because otherwise they were unwashed) I have to say that the staff members we met were very nice and accomodating. The lobby area was very nice and the kids were thrilled that the parrot was still there for entertainment. This hotel has so much potential but needs to realize that for $200 in Kentucky (as opposed to NYC or LA) cleanliness should NOT be an issue.

INSIDE HOTEL LOBBY WAS LOVELY..ROOM WAS NICE, BUT BATHROOM WAS NOT CLEANED VERY WELL, WHEN STAFF DID CLEAN THE 2ND DAY THEY ALMOST DISLOCATED SHOWER HEAD, I HAD WATER FLYING ALL OVER THE BATHROOM THE NEXT DAY ...I NEED A CLEAN BATHROOM, NOT SURE I WOULD GO BACK ...STAFF WAS REALLY NICE

Had a reservation for 2 bedroom suite and didn't get it I wanted to change hotels to acccomodate my family and was short 7 hours of cancellation and they wouldn't cancel for me. They didn't try to help me and work it out No customer service!!!!!!

Let's see, where do I start? The handicap accessibility for the hotel is a joke. The front desk attendant who checked us in, was so busy answering other people and training new staff, that she failed to activate both of our keycards. Then she only activated the cards for one night instead of the 4 we were registered for. We had an executive suite...very spacious. Guess it was too big for housekeeping to clean the tub or the toilet (who wants "ring around the toilet"?). Entered the room one day while housekeeping was still in the suite, she was sitting on the bed watching tv! She never even asked to see my key to ensure that that was even my room---too busy watching her stories to care I guess. Oh, by the way, there's no shuttle service from this Embassy Suites so be sure to rent a vehicle if you plan to get around. The breakfast and manager's reception are okay (breakfast items could be more varied). We paid over $200/night, we would have done better across the street at the Marriott.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this hotel. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The rooms were spacious and well taken care of. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel where the towels were soft. The locality is perfect for all of Cincinnati’s attractions. Their sales manager Kristen was VERY knowledgeable and helpful both prior to our visit and during. I don’t think I have EVER given a hotel five star but this one deserves at least five.

Room was dirty when we arrived. Bathroom floor dirty, countertop dirty, bathtub not clean, filter for air was so disgusting and grill covering it was all broken up. Fan in the bathroom didn't work. Pizza was the worst pizza we've ever eaten. Pool very small and whirlpool was so obnoxious that it wasn't even relaxing. We did complain but they said since our room was prepaid they couldn't do anything about that. They credited the food and the parking. Certainly wasn't worth the 189.00 we spent!!! The only good part was the breakfast in the AM where the chef makes the omelets and hash browns. Very disappointed. We've stayed a LOT nicer places for less money.

The Embassy Suites without a doubt is my first choice in hotel stays. All rooms are two room suites. They have lots of extras. They also offer to all guest a free complimentary breakfast....which is a large selection of foods and beverages. Also there is a cook on duty to prepare your favorite omlet. In the evening they offer there guest free drinks with snacks. This will make it well owrth the price to stay in the hotel.
