our visit was saved
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/25/10
We held an event at NSF and stayed at this Hilton. The front end manager, Firas Ghorab made the entire stay perfect. He went out of his way to find our supplies and help us prepare. Carlos in the the restaurant made it easy for us to get our group settled into a nice dinner. would use them again. definitely.

Overpriced but a convenient location
By Andrea, 8/31/09
The best thing this hotel has going for it is the location near the Metro. The hotel decor and cleanliness were only OK and my room had an air conditioner that rattled incessantly all night...gradually getting louder...to the point that I eventually turned it off and opened the window. I was on the 7th floor and could open the window all the way. Maybe this isn't the best hotel for parents traveling with small inquisitive children who can open windows. Oh, and construction next door started at 6:00 am in the morning...then I had to close the window due to the noise outside.

Terrible experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/2/09
I was very disappointed with this hotel! It was expensive and definitely not worth it. The service was terrible. The air conditioning in my room did not work and the best they could do was provide me with a fan!!!!! The remote for the TV did not work either and I had to wait more than 30 min for a new one, which did not offer all the features (pay-per-view, interactive TV, etc). There were additional (expensive) fees for internet usage and no exercise facilities. Overall: the location is great but the service is so poor that it is not worth the price at all!!!

WOW What a trip!!!
By Crystal, 4/20/08
This was the most incrediable night I have had in a long time! Henry was absolutely wonderful! He is the luggage, bell hop, direction giving, most helpful man I met on my week in DC!! I would give this place my highest rating! It is centrally located and the Metro subway is right out side the doors. It is easy to get around the area as the Metro bus line is right there also!! If you want room service order the Salmon... it was wonderful!!

Good location, nice hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/08
I stayed there when I visit DC. Its location is quite good. When you walked out the hotel, the metro stop is there. The room is clean. Not large room, but has everything you need. The staff is also friendly. Nice and will stay again.

OK Hotel, Great Location
By Rachel, 8/13/07
This hotel is located right off the orange line into the city. They charge $17/night for parking; however if you drive accross the street and park in the mall's parking garage you can save yourself $9/night on the weekdays and $16/night on the weekends (it is $8/day to park there and $1 on the weekends). Also, they charge for internet which I find ridiculous. The people at the front desk do not speak English well and do not know the area well either. If you can get this hotel at a decent price, then go for it. I would not pay more than $100/night for this place though.

Avoid This
By James, 10/28/05
I am very disappointed with the Arlington Hilton. Having just stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Williamsburg, VA (which was very good), I was expecting a great experience. Setting aside the surly and unhelpful staff, I believe I was deliberately misled about the service. I cantacted the hotel and was advised that there was wireless connections in the rooms. No such thing. Also, I reserved a club level accomodations and was advised that there was a a lounge with appetizers and a bar for guests. No such thing. For this I paid a premium? There are also, contrary to the Internet listing, no exercise facilities nor a business center. On top off all else, I was placed in the smallest room on the floor that was also the furthest away from the elevators. Despite there being other rooms being available, your staff would not change my room because of "policy." Needless to say I will have to think twice before reserving a room at Hilton.

We will definitely return to this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/10/05
My husband and I needed a vacation after a difficult and busy summer. I basically picked this hotel because of the previous reviews, location and price. It was more than we expected. When we registered we were given free vouchers for breakfast and the breakfast was great. The hotel was right at the metro link. We had a rented car but decided to use the link during certain periods of the day. It was clean, quick and cheap. This hotel was very accessible to D.C. and surrounding areas. Will stay there again and "highly" recomend.
