It's a work in progress
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/11
Best location in PB ! A little run down. They are trying but don't have much taste in the "improvements" I understand some of the rooms are run down. they allow smoking in some of the rooms. Unfortunetly the pool is in the shade during the season. What good is it ? They had some sort of tent in the backyard for some religious holiday. This was our first trip here and probably the last.

Great location - plenty to do
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/25/09
We always have a great time at the Palm Beach Hotel over the years. This time we had a mini reunion of old high school chums. We had such a great time at the beach, the pool, local restaurants etc. Four days and we never left the Island. No need to as we had plenty to do. Hotel has been refurbished and really looks classy. My friends think it was our best reunion location yet.

Entire Hotel has been renovated - Lovely!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/12/09
We hadn't been here for a few years and were so pleasantly surprised to find some very attractive renovations. The lobby, the halls, and the library/reading/game room mezzanine have all been transformed into lovely areas. The location is just the best and now the Hotel had caught up!

We loved this Place!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/07
This Hotel is charming, incredible location, relaxing loggia, wonderful pool and so many places to walk to. We visited Flagler Museum, The Breakers, walked the Intercoastal bike/walking path often. Beach was a block away as well. Enjoyed the convenience of a grocery store nearby. Yes, it lacks the bells and whistles one might find at the high end Hotels like The Ritz or The Breakers, but we were comfortable in our rooms, and enjoyed having the convenience of a kitchenette in the unit. This was our second visit this year and we hope to manage to get back again before the year is over. Just a wonderful, comfortable and affordable place to relax.

OLD WORLD PALM BEACH
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/07
YOU FEEL LIKE YOU GO BACK IN TIME, FROM THE MOMENT YOU ENTER THE LOBBY YOU CAN SENSE THE FEELING WHEN PALM BEACH WAS A PLACE TO GO IN THE WINTERS. THE FRIENDLIEST STAFF, AND A GREAT ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR, A SUITE ( ONE BEDROOM) WITH A VIEW OF THE LAKE. WALKING AROUND IS GREAT WITH A PUBLIX NEARBY, RESTAURANTS AND GREAT SHOPS. I FELT LIKE I COULD LIVE HERE FOREVER!. RATES WERE GREAT. MY ROOM HAD EVERYTHING, TWO TV'S, STEREO, AND A GREAT MINI KITCHEN. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!! PATRICK S. HARRIGAN

It's All About Value and a Bit of Style
By frostyneil, 1/5/07
It's a ten minute cabride from PB International airport. And it's so centrally located, you really don't need a car. I always take cabs, buses and the tri-rail. The mass transit system is really first rate. If you stay at the Hilton or Four Seasons, you really need to rent a car because it's so far out of Palm Beach Central. And, you'll pay twice as much for your room as you would pay at the Palm Beach Hotel. When I first walked into the lobby of the Palm Beach Hotel 8 years ago I felt as if I had been transported into Palm Beach Florida in the 1920's and 30's. The pool sealed the deal. My wife and I have stayed there many, many times since. Yeah, the rooms aren't all that fantastic----this is not a Hilton---but there is a uniqueness about the place that is very cool. I've often walked over the bridge to Clematis Street in West Palm for cocktails or dinner---it's only about a mile walk. City Place is only 1/2 mile further---or take the free shuttle trolley from Clematis to City Place. From Palm Beach Hotel it's is only 3 blocks to the fabulous Breakers Hotel and its excellent restaurants and bars. Plus, museums, retaurants, shops, are all within walking distance. All in all, the Palm Beach Hotel is a unique, inexpensive, great place to stay if you're going to Palm Beach.

Charming & affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/3/06
This Hotel is such a gem built in 1926 close to everything walk to ocean, restaurants, grocery & boutiques (dont need to rent a car) but make sure you ask for the newly renovated rooms and suites. Some of the older rooms are a letdown

Palm Beach value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/25/05
A great location and great price for the area. Near the beach with a beautiful pool. No restaurant but kitchens and a grocery store nearby take care of that. Also lots of restaurants nearby. Great value and wonderful reservation staff. I would highly recomend it.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/04
The location is great but the rooms we rented were very disappointing, they were filthy, stinky and very old furniture and carpets in the room I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
