i will never stay here again

the room was not clean, the beds are very uncomfortable, the service sucked, we had to go down and get clean towels because they would not bring them up to us. the bathtub had not been cleaned from the last people that stayed there.
 
 
 
 
 
Decent place, a little noisy

I stopped in with my kids for one night (we were on a long road trip). It's right off the highway so the noises from the trucks was unavoidable. There was also construction right next to the hotel; more noise. Luckily my kids are deep sleepers :) The price was good, room was very clean. The TV was old and discolored. It was fine for what we needed... a safe, clean, cheap place to stay.
 
 
 
 
 
Better than other places in town!

I liked the Econo Lodge West. The room was clean and everythign was in order. The staff at the desk were friendly and effeciant. I was on the bottom floor and it rained the night I stayed and it seemed the water poured off the roof right down intfront of my doorway. That was my only complaint. I would stay here again. Free wireless internet seals the deal for me! I personally think the building is in good shape for being 20 years old.

generally ok

The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was with the heating system. Being a heat pump(?) it seemed we were either hot or cold. I did notice some black dust clinging to the ceiling above the vents which concerned me. The room was located on the bottom and seemed somewhat subterranean. I caught the flu or a very bad cold while I was there and spent the last day and a half mostly in bed, and breathing air that was travelling through a unit that could stand to be cleaned was not the best thing.
