Awesome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/12
Had a sad visit to Marshall as my sister passed. But our visit to the Arbor inn was more than pleasant. Price was outstanding with clean, comfortable rooms. When we checked Gary at the front desk patiently waited for me to stop crying and offered his heart felt condolences. Thank you and hope to see them again under better curcomstances.

best of the 2 we stayed at
By DON, 9/23/11
Our first visit we stayed at Howards.. Won't do that again. Second visit we were happy to stay at the Arbor Inn. Very good beds had a great night sleep. Breakfast was a little lacking( only 2 donuts left.). Needs a little fixing here and there but nothing so bad that we won't go back. Very nice people.I give it 4 stars....

The only place I stay
By Ria, 6/14/11
I want to state up front that the staff is positively the most kind and helpful in the area. I have had the pleasure to stay a few days and also for a week. Denise is such a great asset for this Inn. This last stay i did run into a few little issues, not only was it correct promptly but also they went out of their way for that extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. THANK YOU.. I come into Marshall from out West, long long drive, I am greeted with a smile no matter when I check in, and by the time my check in is done they have me smiling. Try this Inn when your in town very close to all the shops Marshall has to offer, Arbor Inn is worth trying out..... You will enjoy the stay I am sure.

It's OK but....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/12/11
I guess my gripes are really minor. First I'll list the good: 1) Price - the best we couldfind in the Marshall area 2) Good, clean room. Probably remodeled recently. 3) Although I didn't have personal contact, my wifee tells me the lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. 4) We saw no dogson the premises. That must be a seasonal thing during duck (or whatever) season. I can understandallowing pets (dogs) as that brings in hunters. Minor gripes: 1) The TV channel listing listed about 20 channels when only about 8 were available. 2) TheWifi wasweak. 3) As mentioned, no nightstands. 4) No in-room hair dryer, but it was availabe at the front desk. 5) No shampoo. Thiscould have been an oversight. 6) This is a biggie. They absolutely should not - I repeat, should not! - advertise continental breakfast. All we found was breakfast bars, Pop Tarts, and miniature muffins. We passed and went to Marshall.

Long Term
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/11/11
I have been staying at the motel for many months. The staff has been very nice and everything has always been taken care of. Its also nice that they allow pets because I have a large dog that goes to work with me everyday. My dog has even done some damage and they didn't get mad!!

Great Little Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/11
Visiting family in Marshall we have stayed at the arbor inn over the years. The updates they have made are very pleasant. There is a little maid that works so hard and even helped load our belongings. There was even a basketball net that kepted our kids buzy. Thanks to the staff and keep up the improvements, we will be back mid summer.

Good Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/16/11
Rooms where far above average with very comfortable beds. The proximity to the new casino is a definite advantage with good dining reasonably close. Owners do need to pay attention to guests with pets as there where to huge white dogs loose in the field near the motel, kind of scary. The staff did seem to do a really good job though. The man working during the night was very cordial and fun to talk to. We will be Back!!!

You get what you pay for.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/13/11
This is an old motel, looks like it was built in the 60's. The desk staff were friendly, the room was very clean. We had two problems, there were no bedside stands, we moved a chair to each side of the bed & the people next door were very loud. It's in a perfect location to see Marshall, nice historical town, and about 5 mi to the casino. I don't think I'd stay again because of the noise issues but it was very inexpensive, so I can't complain to much.
