Super 8 Lake Wales, Lake Wales

The outside is a bit off putting, clean but no landscaping. Don't be disuaded --check a room.Our room was clean, comfortable and safe. No super breakfast, but the $40.00 + saved on the room buys a mighty fine breakfast. In this area of over priced motels, this is a real find.

Came from out of town, stopped and got a room, the first problem we (Mother, three sisters all over the age of 50) incurred was by a man who was very rude and kept asking if we had any children or pets, told him no several times and invited him to look in the car, web showed king size beds for a double room ( only had full size), no internet service as told we would have, only two lights had bulbs in them, telephone did not work advised front desk no response, coffee pot did not work we had to hold the button to brew coffee, and there were roaches in the room. Your company should investigate this problem to avoid any more complants and I feel that my mother should be compensated, Make response and we will provide her information. An 82, 64, 57 and 55 year old female should not have to fight for a deceit room to stay in when all are on a set budget. Need to correct your information on the web to not mislead people. The front of the building is nothing like what is posted. Concerned citizen

We didn't plan to stay overnight in Lake Wales- went to the Super 8 since it was the first place we saw. Everything was awful- service, room, even the coffee maker had some kind of debris floating in it. The room was hot & filthy- there was visible dirt on the carpet, mold in the bathroom (along with a cockroach). Floors felt odd, like they were hollow underneath. I will never, ever stay in a Super 8 again. Don't stay here- you're better off sleeping in your car!
