A Bright Spot in the City of Lights.

The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The provided excellent suggestions for where to eat and what to do, and took care of the reservation process.
The lobby was simple, but very tastefully decorated. It featured a bar and restaurant, with good food. The complementary breakfast was also fairly extensive (eggs, yogurt, pastry, cereal, fruit, etc). The room was good sized, especially for an European hotel, and always VERY clean.
The hotel is just off a major street, so there is plenty of cafe and shopping opportunity. Yet it is still quiet enough for that relaxed left bamnk atmosphere. Many attractions are within walking distance (about 1/2 mile from the river and Museed'Orsay). The metro is also very close, with two lines servicing stations within a few blocks (St. Sulpice is almost across the street and Rennes is about two block away).
I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Paris.
