Fabulous Service

The service at this hotel was spectacular. Every request, from early check in, to upgraded rooms, transportation, room service, was met beyond expectations. The views from the rooms were good, although the Danube is not particularly scenic. The downside was the location, which required taxis (expensive) or using their shuttle bus to the Hilton am Stadt (inconvenient) to get to the tourist sites/museums/opera house. Otherwise, this hotel offered great value for the money.

Not so awesome as others said

Stayed there for 3 nights in September'08. Hotel is decent and food is very good but staff at reception were a bit mean. They tried to charge us for breakfasts which were already included in package! The only advantages are huge rooms and proximity of subway (literally 5 min walk). Bathroom is so small and has literally nothing axcept shower caps and soap. Comparing to our homeland UAE it wasnt a very pleasant experience.

International Hilton Hotels

Funnily enough I have stayed at the Hilton before and found the service was excellent and while visiting family in Vienna I chanced upon this hotel and found to my surprise it was just as good as the Hilton UK .... great hotel, excellent service and I look forward to Christmas at the Hilton in Southampton and perhaps one day I might enjoy staying at the Hilton in Vienna! Great place

It was one of the best hotels that I have even tried. The rooms are very wide and the view is wonderfull facing the river. The only problem was its far place from the city center I mean the shopping center.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful people

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 days over New Year's and were treated like royalty. I made contact with the staff before leaving home to make arrangements for Sylvester and to get an idea what was available "off the beaten path" for a 13-year old girl to find interesting. Leah, the front desk staffmember that helped us, had suggestions, made reservations and gave directions both before and during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the Danube. The Strassenbahn station was so very close to the hotel that getting around the city was quite simple. This is one hotel I look forward to returning to.

Really Great

I am from Greece and i stayed in Hilton for 3 nights.The rooms were great but the view from my window was something i will always remember...The river in front of me was breathtaking..You should really choose this hotel if you plan to travel in Vienn.Its not in the city center but you can use the public transportation which are also very good...

Vienna Danube 4*

Staff are very courtious and helpful, food is delicious and plenty of it. Rooms are amazingly spacious and clean, view of the Danube and Vienna are breathtaking. Already looking to go back.
Access to the underground is approx 10 min slow walk along the River, all boat trips also approx 5 min walk.
