We ARE going back!

This is the best hotel in Luxor. It's not as expensive as Movenpick, nor as famous as the Winter Palace. It doesn't have the largest swimming pool. And it is at the end of the road.
But it has three excellent restaurants (including the only Indian restaurant in the town), superb views of the Nile and of the Theban Hills, and staff that have always been friendly, efficient, and caring for us as customers.
Planning our fourth holiday in Luxor after a three year break, my wife said: "There's only one hotel for me - the Sheraton."
The barside snacks are the best in the area. What's more, it is within easy reach of the other restaurants, hotels and visitor areas, whether you go by the hotel minibus, use the local buses, walk or sail.
And if you are looking for a good boat and an exceptional crew, ask anyone along the Corniche for El Moussa. he's as straight as the sun's flight, he won't rip you off, you'll have an experienced English-speaking crew, and a great day - if you choose the full package. Oh - and do tell him Alan and Sylvia will see him next August!
