This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was really small and it smelled horrible. The noise from the freeway was horrific. Not to mention that the sheets would not stay on the bed. Woke up laying on the matteras numerous times and that was gross! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Okay, it's Motel 6, you can't expect too much more from it than a bed, a shower and a TV. But this one smelled like a pile of smelly socks -- like Fritos gone bad. Even worse, when we came back the second night (I should have moved to a different motel, but a parent had just died and I had other things on my mind,) our room key card didn't work. So I went up to the office and said "My card doesn't work." She merely asked me what room I was in and reswiped my card without checking my ID or anything (and she was a different clerk than when we checked in.)
SO, if you're traveling alone, make sure you lock your doors!!! I could have very well told her the room number of the people that just left and had access to their room. Swell.
Motel 6 or not, their rooms should not smell and they should provide a tad more security for their guests.
