Never again

February 2008. My husband, myself, my daughter and grand kids rented 2 rooms. Immediately upon entering our room, I went to use the restroom.
Someone had used the toilet and left it unflushed. And I don't mean just urinated.....It is obvious that the motel maid had not cleaned the bathroom, or this wouldn't have been left, as the toilet lid was up.
We then made them give us another room. The next morning upon entering shower, I discovered a soiled dry wash rag over shower rod when I went to pull it shut to take a shower. Once again, obvious that no one is cleaning these restrooms.
Also, my daughters room, the heat wasn't working properly, and they were cold all night.
When we went to check out, it had snowed several inches, and at 10:00 am the sidewalks were not even cleared...
