Definitely a LOUD party motel...slamming doors..and screaming and yelling till wee hours of the morning......... --- Please be cautious when staying here.. I would advise going elsewhere---very LOW BUDGET...-- the lobby is wee small ..they allow people to sleep on the LOBBY sofa and chair over night......YES-- they are snoring away when you check out in the morning---Not appealing at all................

Stayed two nights here in early July 2010 and had a good experience. Small fridge was a plus and microwave a bonus. Corridor was briefly noisy at night (11-12) but rest of time nice and quiet. Check in was adequate, although check out had an issue that was quickly resolved by the manager (incorrect payment was entered for my first night and there was a "balance due", which was then waived) Good location and easy access to Route 2 (I-90 is about 1.5 miles south). Chain restaurants are very close by as well as a grocery store and gas stations. Attractions in the area are only minutes away. There is a bowling alley across the street which seems to generate some local business. Area is generally safe and friendly for the most part. Room was clean with no real issues, wifi coverage was good, and everything else operated the way it should. To reiterate - overall a decent experience at a name brand budget hotel for less than $60 a night (with coupon) in summer. Works for me!

I stayed at the Super 8 in Mentor, Ohio when i was in town to visit my relatives who all live up north in that area. I am up there countless times per year and have taken to staying here instead of trying to shack up on a couch or in a crowded house. This hotel has yet to let me down. rates are affordable compared to other hotels in the area. But not too much sacrifice in the quality. It has interior corridors (which i find much nicer and prefer) rather than the doors to the outside being directly off of the rooms. There is always a nice little continental breakfast in the morning that i appreciate. I think one of the things i like the most about this hotel is it's location. It is right at a key intersection, making getting off to where i need to go really easy in the early morning, and there are a ton of restaurants and stores and even a mall close by. My favorite place to go when i stay here is the headlands Beach. It's beautiful and has a gorgeous scenic lighthouse. Also, a tip to those traveling through Ohio. At the rest stops along the interstate they have booklets with coupons that usually offer way better deals on rooms for all the hotels, i always stop and get one on my way each time and it has saved me quite a lot in the summer months.
