Segara Village, Denpasar

Have stayed here a couple of times and going back again for the entire month of Feb 2006. Get a room aroung village two if you can. It is fairly quiet and right on top of the smaller of the two pools which is less busy. Service was very good and the condition of rooms checked to a very high standard. Be prepared to be woken each morning by the sound of staff sweeping up the fallen leaves. Standards of room vary and you pretty much get what you pay for, but the overall layout and 'village' design is a good one and serves to make to complex appear smaller than it actually is. Very good location for the beach and any number of bars and restaurants. Infact I have only once actually eaten at the hotel. try Benno's along the beach for good service, value and cleanlines. Roll on Feb 2006!
