Unfortunately, your previous reviewer was confused about where they were.
The photo shown (and previous review given...) is of Sheep Mt. Lodge, not King Mt. Lodge. Sheep Mt. Lodge is in the community of Glacierview, not Palmer -and is located about 80 miles north of Palmer. King Mt. Lodge is located in Chickaloon, which is about 30 miles north of Palmer. Historic King Mt. Lodge is the oldest continually operating original Lodge in Alaska, and consists of a bar, small cafe, and 3 original yet very cozy "rustic trapper cabins" (outhouse available nearby) available for rent. The bar/cafe is open year-round, has indoor plumbing, and a warm woodstove for all to enjoy during the long winters. King Mt. Lodge is a favorite of the colorful local residents, including "Gus the Ghost" who makes himself known from time to time.. The Lodge also offers free camping for RV's and tents.
