Motel 6, Pompano Beach

This hotel has low rates but you would have to deal with the loud yelling, unsafe area, alot of illegal activity in the parking lot during the day and night. I had items stolen out of my room. Rooms are not clean and you are lucky if the maid leaves you toliet paper. You are considered lucky if you can sleep a night without disturbances. The staff claims to take your complaints seriously when in fact they ignore them and call your room before 7am. The local sheriff's department stated they get alot of complaints from this hotel. This hotel is not a good hotel for single women or travelers with children.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. We stayed at this hotle because it was the best deal we could get..... big mistake. The hotel room had a funny smell. We even went to Walmart and bought airfresheners and it didn't help. The room was also very damp.... we tried leaving the door open but it didn't help, plus there wre always wierd people hanging around that made us feel uncomfortable. The bed was probably very old because the springs were digging into my back. The t.v. went out everytime it reained, because it was satilite. The one thing I did appreciate, it was that we didn't run into any bug in the room(but I wouldn't be surprise if there was a bug problem). Anyway, only go here if you are desparate..... We would have left but it was spring break and we couldn't find another place that had a room available. (a room that was under $100 a night anyway.....)
