A real gem, and a great value - we'll be back!
With my parents making their first visit to the west coast, I wanted to treat them to a Calistoga holiday, but I had a very limited budget to work with. I chose the Eurospa based on the location (basically down the block from all Calistoga restaurants and spas) and the fact that the rooms with private spa tubs were affordable. What a pleasant surprise to find that this place was not only convenient and reasonably priced, but friendly, extremely well-maintained, and that the cost of accommodation included both breakfast and afternoon snacks. The heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi area has a great view of surrounding hillside and an adjacent garden - both pools are very well maintained and seem to be brand new. Perhaps most important to me was the condition of the unit with disabled access, as my mother has a physical disability. Unlike some hospitality managers, the managers at Eurospa have put a lot of thought into accessability: the unit set up in such a way that a person in a wheelchair can easily get around, and the bathroom is fully accessible; including the huge shower stall with handrails and fold-down bench. Being able to get around her unit and wash up without help made the holiday a real pleasure for my mother. A great place to stay - we'll be back!
