A place to return

After staying at several places in and around the Calistoga area, this is the best place. Rooms are all tastefully decorated and confortable with indivdual themes. Our favorite is the library. Great views of the valley and winery. A place to totally enjoy, relax and have a spa treatment. The afternoon wine and cheese tasting is a great way to meet other guest, while drinking some of the best wine in the valley. The proprietors are always around and make your fell so at home. Learn lot about wine making when taking a barrell tasting tour with J-Paul. When ever we have out of state guest we always take them here for a wine country experience. Convenient to other winery and great resturants. This is totally luxury without the high price tag.

Beautiful hideaway

This small hotel atracted me by quite surroundings of its own beatiful vineyard and the variety of rooms which are all made in its own unique style. We stayed in the main sweet on the second floor with jacuzzi right in the bedroom and a breathtaking view over a swimming pool, blooming flowers, and the vineyard. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. It's a very nice quite place for a romantic relaxing getaway. The only drawback is that you have to make reservations about six months in advance.
