Great Value
The room was fine - the only signs that it was not new were a few dings in the furniture and a rather antiquated-looking AC, which worked fine. The TV wasn't great, but I didn't go to LA to sit in a motel room and watch TV. The room was clean, the hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee maker, AC and TV all worked, (I guess the microwave and internet connection did, too, but I didn't use them). The bed was very comfortable. The front desk people were helpful and friendly - my resevation made on the internet was not correct, but they soon had that fixed. There are several restaurants nearby, the neighborhood seemed ok - I had no problem walking to the Korean restaurant across the street or the McDonalds down the block alone after dark. There seemed to be adequate parking. In short - I have no reason not to stay there again - you can't beat the price for the location.
