What a suprise!

A change from the run-of-the-mill road side motels on interstate exits. What a suprise for a small town. Just a few blocks from Lake Shelbyville,beachs & boatramps. You could miss this property if you were not looking for it. Blends in with neighborhood. Boat parking in large lot in back. Little close to the highway for my likes. Several places to eat near by. Neat lobby, in old 1900 victorian home on national register.

If You Gotta Stay In Shelbyville...

This is a nice place to stay if you have to stay in Shelbyville. I'm sure the tourists will like this more than the Spillway Hotel. It sort of looks like a bed and breakfast, but its more like an upscale style hotel with doors to the outside (not enclosed inside a hallway). No breakfast, but McDonald's is just a few blocks west, and there are a lot of other good places to get breakfast in Shelbyville.
