Does this ugly hotel make my life look bigger?

1)Hmm, the location. It was near the town I wanted to visit.
2)The girl at check-in was helpful.
3,4,5)The ice machine, air conditioner & tv worked.
Dislikes:
1) Checking in to the smell of STRONG chlorine.
2) The smoke detector was disconnected & missing from our room.
3) There was mold on the shower head & tub edges.
4) The refrigerator hardly got below room temperature(there were no shelves to put anything on).
5) I got zapped at one of the light switches(trying to shut it off).
6) The mattress was hard as a rock & the pillow was close to it.
7) The water in the whirlpool was brown....we tried it anyway & ended up....wiping brown stuff off our bodies....gross.
8) The pool shut down at 10PM on a Saturday night...I would have preferred(as others) 11o'clock or mid-nite (but that's not a big deal).....
9).... the BIG deal was at the "continental breakfast" the next morning. My wife went ahead with my two girls. When I got there, my 1 daughter had a waffle (looked good) and my wife had cereal.
I went in to look around for something & noticed everyone who was having cereal, was reaching into a small refrigerator for the same gallon of milk ( not sanitary at all), there were bagels sitting on the counter with no "tongs" to pick them up (I wondered how many had been picked up & put back), they were out of orange juice....oh yeah, the cream cheese, for the bagels, was a single tub that was sitting out on the counter with a single knife sticking in it.
.....but the big deal, was when my other daughter was going for the Raisin Bran. The bigger flakes had stuck by the dispensing lever & she couldn't get any out. I picked up the container to try and shake the bigger one's back so the cereal would flow better. When I did, there were several little critters with wings that started to fly around inside the container.....that was enough for me.
I reasoned with my wife in that I had been passive on some things we had encountered but I can't justify the irresponsibility & negligence that this facility had shown me.
I grew up around this area (same county) and had always known Timmerman's to be a cut above the rest & now I think everyone should know that I think my wife would have rather went camping in the sweltering heat than to stay here again...she had eaten HER cereal already!
Shame, shame,shame.
She would also say that I've been known to sleep sitting up...so I'm not so picky, but...wow.
