NEVEFR GOING BACK!
By Kasady, 7/24/10
My company paid $380 for me to take an industry class plus $400 in travele expenses. After 20 hours of class we take a 20 question essay exam over the class. It's a difficult class and it's a difficult test. The hotel double booked our industry class with a rock festival and we were all woken up at 2:30 am to screaming in the pool area that lasted until 4:00. My husband take to threaten to call the police for the staff to finally follow their own rules. The pool closed at 10! I failed my test thanks to the hotels poor planning. I got $80 of my money back, but since the class cost $800 plus lost productivity to my company and I have to take the class again, I'm definagtely not happy.

Great Expirence
By Wayne K, 10/13/09
My group (12U softball team) had never been to OKC and from the moment I called to quote a price the staff was so helpful with giving info on area. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The indoor pool was nice but cold especially for a bunch of FL girls but the hot tub helped them. The breakfast buffet is worth the few dollars it cost. During our stay there was a deaf convention and at least one other team staying at hotel and it still felt as if we were the only ones there. The pictures are deceiving and do not give you a true look at what a great hotel this is. Now if they could just get a heater on that pool!!!

Great staff ....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/08
Recently stayed at this hotel (7-19, 20 ) and the staff was super, went out of the way to make our stay pleasent. Pool was out of order and our grandchildren were disappointed however the manager on duty and the bookkeeper used their personal cars to drive us to a pool at a nearby hotel.

avoid it if you can
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/1/08
This place is cheap for good reason. The staff was nice but they were the only positive thing. The pictures on the Holiday Inn site are vague - the hotel is run down, and the rooms were NOT CLEANED PROPERLY. The neighborhood is not great and the parking lot has many dark spots.

Do not recommend
By stephanie, 3/5/07
This hotel is not worth the 95.00 rate. The hotel is not safe. Of the 35 rooms our group stayed in, atleast 5 of them had broken door locks or missing door locks. The outside hallways were unkempt with glass beer bottles laying around. The rooms were outdated, the bathrooms not clean and very outdated. The mattresses in some of the rooms were sagging and THIN. The pool though advertised as heated...was not, the kids could barely swim because the water was too cold. The hot tub---not working--no water. The hotels restaurant's staff was not willing to help customers. One of our groups families were told their children could not eat free because they weren't considered being on "vacation" How obsurd! Holiday Inns motto-Kids stay free Kids eat free! Not to mention the husband of the family had to acutally go back into the kitchen and get someone to take their order! I know this all seems crazy, one would not think a Holiday Inn could be this bad--but it was. The hotel manager and front desk employess were very unfriendly and unproffesional. Take my advice--dont stay here, its not worth it.

VERY POOR customer service
can't comment too much on our stay....we made reservations in advance and made specific request and were approved for early check in by the front desk. upon arrival, front desk advised us that they did not have a room available for us...even with our prearranged special request. we patiently waited in the lobby/atrium area for over 3 1/2 hrs and during that time, not much was being done to accommodate us. needless to say, steps only were taken to TRY to find an room for us only AFTER i asked for the hotel manager's phone #. after 3 1/2 hours of waiting, and observing the customer service skills of the front desk staff, front desk mgr, housekeeping mgr, we decided that it would be best for us to just leave than to wait around for nothing to be done. so, not a good experience at this hotel...although after sitting in the atrium for such a long time, that the premices weren't bad...unfortunatly we didn't get the quality service that was expected. sorry...but have to give this hotel a TERRIBLE rating!!!!!

Wonderful memories
By Andrea, 7/25/05
We stay here every year for a week during the National Homeschool Basketball Tournament. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is excellent. The employees go out of their way to be accomodating and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is great. My kids love the indoor pool. Pets are allowed. All in all, we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this hotel every year. If you can stay here a week, as we do, and look forward to going back every year, you know it's a great place. Very family friendly. I would highly recommend it.
