Timhotel Le Louvre, Paris

This was our first visit to Paris. We only had 36 hours to see as much of paris as we could.We only needed a clean place to sleep and this was perfect for our needs.Yes, the shower was small and the room also small,but you can walk to the Lourve, and other sites. Plenty of places to eat within blocks. The tube station is 3 blocks away. We got there befor check in but the had a spot in the lobby to leave our luggage so we could site see the are without lugging bags arround. Nice place ,good location. We can't wait to go back next year

We were a little nervous about our stay being this was our first trip to Paris. The hotel room and bathroom were both VERY small but we were only looking for a place to sleep. The room was always clean. The hotel could not be in a better location. It was very easy to find from the Metro station and practically across the street from the Louvre. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. We never had breakfast there. If we are ever back in Paris we would definitely stay there again. We had a very nice experience.

I had read some reviews about the room sizes at this hotel and was a little nervous about staying here. The rooms are small - but the location is excellent and we were able to walk to the Louvre and enjoy the local nightlife without taking the Metro or the RER. It was also conveniently located to the route of the open tour bus that we took all three days we were there. Its also a pretty short walk to Musee D'Orsay through the park. Service was excellent and the continental breakfasts were very good. The staff spoke some English and were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

* Very small room and small bed. I don't know how they can put the bed in the room. * Extremely small shower bath. I think the shower bath area is less than 1 square meter,and the width of door is about 50cm! It is very difficult to step in and out and do the shower. * Check the daily price before you step in your room! The price will not the same as your booking! And they charge the breakfast (10 euro per person per day)without notice even you donot have it! * Location! The location of the hotel is good, close to everything, such as subway and museum. But the hotel is in insecurity surroundings. * Personal unhappy experience: The frontdesk staff in the early morning has awful manner. We had several queries about the final price of the room when we checked out in the early morning. That gentleman denied all the things and said we cheated when we did the booking! Luckily, we brought the copy of the booking comfirm email to prove our booking! The manager sent us an email to apologize, and gave us refund after we back home.
