Americas Best Value Inn, Garland

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights 7/8 - 7/10/07. The hotels requires you to prepay you hotel stay which should have been a clue. The room was dirty with food and dirt underneath the beds. It was dusty and the table was sticky. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The nonsmoking room smelled like smoke and I found a cigarette butt underneath the bed. The desk light was missing the light bulb. There were clean towels and soap was provided. I had to call for toilet tissue upon arrival as there was little left on the roll. However the hotel clerk immediately delivered a new roll. I needed Internet services and this worked great, but I had to be assigned a room near the office. There is a continental breakfast every morning that ends at 9:30 AM. I did not know this and did not attend. The lobby was beautifully decorated, but the rooms were disappointing!
