Adequate, no frills

My complaints are a combination of hotel management and Yahoo travel. I booked a nonsmoking room, and received a confirmation from Yahoo. When we arrived, there were no nonsmoking rooms and I was told that my reservation was only a request through Yahoo, not guaranteed. And that Yahoo booked a room that was not available, therefore the hotel was not obligated to honor it. Luckily there was a cancellation (4 hours after our check-in) that allowed us to move to a nonsmoking room. The ordeal was quite an unpleasant experience all around.

Won't Stay Here Again

When we walked into our room it smelled like old vomit. We mentioned this to the manager. She said four people went into our room with a fine tooth comb and didn't smell anything. Well, they must be use to that smell! There weren't any screens on the windows or locks that worked. The room was hot and it was 25 degrees outside. The cooler in the room didn't cool the room. The picture of the pool is very misleading. Please take note, it is only 1.5 feet deep! The manager was manning the continental breakfast as well as everything else so the food was not being replenished as quickly as it should have been.

Breckenridge ski trip

Adequate room, was clean, quiet, two beds with firm mattresses, and clean sheets. about 15 miles from ski resort. Had many college students staying here. that worried me at first, but all were well behaved, and quiet. Breakfast was good with waffle maker, cereal, toast and more. also free wireless.
