Hyatt Regency North Dallas, Richardson

This so-called 4 star hotel is horrible. Upon entering the room, I thought I would see a large spacious area. Instead, it was a very small, poorly decorated room. The wall are obviously paperthin. On top of that they have 2 one liter bottles of Ozarka water in the room and if you drink it there is a $5 charge. The rooms do not come standard with a microwave/fridge--even 2 star hotels have this feature. I was not happy or impressed. My 6 year old kept complaining stating she wanted to go back to the DoubleTree. Stay away you will not be happy.

Honest to Gosh, if you stay here you will regret it. If you are looking for peace and quiet, then you absolutely WILL NOT GET IT HERE AT THIS HOTEL. The rooms are HORRIBLE. There is no sound proofing what so ever. You can litterally here your neighbor peeing in the next room. There is major foot traffic at all hours of the night. The hotel room doors are pointless. The sounds in the hall way of the people, the ice machine, the elevators, the drunks shuffling down the hallway to their rooms late at night, the slam slam slam of the doors, the KaBang and rattling of the walls from the heavy metal locks on the doors will wake you up every time they open, shut, open shut, open , shut...all night long. The road traffic that you hae to listen to still isn't enough to drowned out the horribel constant 24/ banging/clanging that you'll hear while in your room. If you are hard of hearing or just drink till you pass out, then this is not the hotel for you. I'm telling you, you will soooooooooo regret staying here if you do. Good food, great staff, comfortable beds do not make up for SLEEPLESS NIGHTS.

I called the hotel and asked if they had an airport courtesy shuttle and they gave me the the number of some shotty service with bickering drivers that left me sitting in a van at the airport for 40 minutes on evening before leaving for the hotel. Why would they suggest a "bargain van line"? I got in after midnight after spending the evening in a smelly van. I got my room which seemed decor wise to be nice, only to be awakened by a whistle sound of the A/C at 2:30AM. The operator could also not understand my complaint due to poor english skills. I was here for a seminar and at lunch, there was a nice roach seen crawling on the wall of the restaurant. I changed rooms after the end of my day which was fun, but offered a fruit tray and $35 coupon for dinner. At first they said I could not use it for roomservice, but fortunately they called me back and allowed me to use it. The walls here are paper thin and can hear the television of my neighbor loudly. It is now 3AM in the morning. I cannot get my A/C to come on with it set at 60C. It seems they have a governor on the A/C, so I can neither get comfortable temperature or drown out the noise of my neighbor. The operartor said he didn't think there was such a device and offered to move me again. I'm not inclined to move again, but I'm not sure I have much choice.

I booked this hotel because of the great price I got on Priceline ($60 a night). The room was a bit small, but the beds were comfortable with great down comforters and feather pillows, the chairs were so nice to sit in. The bathroom was so clean and big, I just can't say enough about this place. The staff was wonderful, very very helpful. Parking was excellent no charge. Easy to get onto the expressway from the hotel and close to a lot of shopping and Plano Centre, I will be staying here again.

Very Quiet ,Nice Hotel .Very Clean .I was traveling on Business and it was nice after working all day to come back to a CLEAN room .Very nice people who work there very helpful and great Customer Service ..all and all I would diff come back here again .

Picture someone getting their hotel receipt in the middle of the night. It does not have a zero balance, which requires you to go downstairs and deal with the staff. That is when everything falls apart. The staff is uneducated and the management staff is not responsible. If you can help them get their printer to work, your in good shape. If you can get them to answer their phone, you must have caught someone walking by who was tired of hearing it ring.

Not much leisure wise to do around the hotel, but very nicely renovated, and would be a great choice for any business traveller. Will definately stay again.

I was instructed to let the shower run for twenty minutes in order to get hot water. At $200 a night, that is unacceptable.

This hotel was very nice. You can park yourself not far from the door (which is nice, no waiting for valet) and someone helps you when your luggage. Check in went smooth, somewhat slow but I was not in a hurry. They were very nice and the hotel was very nice. My room was wonderful and I fell asleep right away on the bed. I was shocked by the bath products, they are what I used on a trip in London! The restaurant was good and the bar was great. After a long day of work the bar was nice to hang out in and shoot some pool. And speaking of pool, the outdoor poor is nice and so is the fitness facility. I would def go back!!
