Nice Enough
I stayed at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for a wedding.
I was sent an email prior to my stay asking if I had any special requests, which I thought was kind. So I requested to be on the top floor and to have toothpaste in my room.
I regret asking for the top floor, as the hallways seemed to be blasting heat. It was totally unbearable simply waiting for the elevator. When I talked to the front desk about it, they said the A.C. wasn't working in the hallways on the top floors. I could understand that, but it literally felt like the heat was on. That wasn't cool. (No pun intended)
The bedroom was gorgeous, as was my view.
Room service was slow delivering my lukewarm french fries.
After the maid cleaned my room, I noticed that she didn't replenish my "one use only" toothpaste. She didn't even throw it away.
The wedding was held one of the conference rooms and the reception was in a ballroom. The food and service at the reception was impeccable.
I visited the business center to get on the internet. It was, like, a dollar a minute. when I complained to the front desk, they insisted that's how all Marriott's are. NOT TRUE. I stayed at others that offered free internet and it was free to print pages as well. So naturally, I was highly disappointed with this one.
It was a great location though. Right outside the mall and great shopping centers.
I'd return. On the 3rd floor. With my laptop.
