If you don't mind people pounding on doors and yelling at each other at all hours of the night, the roaches in the bathroom or the urine stainded mattess (yes its true, i have photos) then this one's for you!

Their are too many reasons to mention why the value of this place is not even close to the amount you pay even for the bigger rooms. At one time they went for $300 a week!?! And the so called "specials" are only to draw in business but only apply if you pay the full price for multiple days,whereas the average traveler would only need 2 nights at the most. The "exercise room" is nothing more than two worn down machines that barely work,and the pool has been closed for an indefinite period of time. The laundry only has 2 washers and dryers,one of which is inoperable. The only maintenance I have ever seen done on the rooms is painting just to improve the appearance while letting the other problems go ignored. This place is a few more major repairs from being condemned altogther and only because it is run by foreigners is it still in operation. There is an apartment complex next door where the rent is much cheaper so there is no reason they should have the rates there so high. Bottom line is they are only money hungry and would sacrifice repeat customers just to keep the rates high. Even if they lowered the room rates,I would never go back because of the overall attitude and ineptness of management there.

Stay clear of this hotel! Like other reviews say, it is a cheap rate but trust me, you are getting what you pay for. The rooms are horrible, multiple holes in the walls, cheap furniture, and it smells funny. I stayed here for awhile and when the a/c broke and the chair was broken the manager said the room is "as is" and that they can fix it but charge me more money! I was told they had a brand new a/c unit they could put in but that I would have to give them more money! Why am I buying there new a/c unit????The two managers here try and charge you for EVERYTHING they can think of! Probably because I talked to two employees that work there who mentioned the managers pocket the "extra" charges they try and stick you with. They have a pool but it is filthy! They hardly ever clean it! I also saw a review that said this was a safe area, that is totally inaccurate! In a two week stay I saw the police here multiple times for various things! You would be better off going next door to the studio 6. Its not the best over there either, but much better then staying at the Brookwood!

This property is located in a good area. The prices are extremely reasonable. Its convenient location makes getting around or into town a cinch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you wake up early enough you can even enjoy a complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Wow....what a great place. I was tired, the place was convenient and I was able to relax in safe surroundings. Certainly enjoyed the 76 channels on TV and stayed awake way too late.
