Kona Awesome Condo (KonaAWESOMEcondo.com) runs the best condo rental business in Kona. Their condos are the best kept and the owner offers special attention to her guests. Janice Hamilton is the owner and she went out of her way to make our honeymoon a special time. She gave us a beautiful basket of wine/gourmet foods, and, she even set up a beautiful dinner, her treat. The condo was amazing and was clean and very comfortable. The place was filled with amenities that we've never seen in any other vacation rental. We did look inside some other units, and many of them were really beaten up and dirty inside. It all depends on who is caring for the rental you choose. The condos run by Janice/KonaAWESOMEcondo are the best in the complex. If you stay in Casa de Emdeko, make sure and rent from Janice at KonaAWESOMEcondo.com in order to get a clean, well run, beautifully maintained condo.

The web page talked about the personal touch and customer service- we never saw anyone-not even to check in. No lobby or any personnel around, other than lawn care. Our unit was old and moldy smelling. The grounds and pool are very nice, and the units that have been up-dated are okay. There is a reason they don't show many pictures of the condo. We won't be back.

We read reviews all praising this condo and we stayed there one week. Condo needs a lot of work, it crammed with junk and had a moldy smell to it. There are other units in the complex for rent at the same rate - and much nicer (and larger). This unit is one of the smallest in the complex. I discovered when staying there that all of the reviews are written by the owner making it sound amazing. Stay away....

Stayed her last year for a week and was very disappointed. Dirty and old. The review you read are all placed by the owner to make it seem like a wonderful place. There are many other rental units in this condo complex - and they appeared to be much better with new furniture, better location, etc.

WE stayed in a two bed/bath condo and it was great! Nice kitchen, good size, all the comforts of home, and a washer and dryer too! Just beyond a comfortable walking distance to downtown Kailua Kona, but close to the Ali'i Open Air Market, and Keauhou Shopping Center. Oddly, one of the things we really appreciated was the lack of maid service, so we didn't have to keep picking up to prepare for them. Our teenagers found the internet on the lani--and it was furnished with table and chairs so that was a plus. Great place, quiet, beautiful landscaping, we would definitely go back.

We're in the middle of our 21 day vacation @ the Casa,,,excellent condo for the money. grounds well kept, employees helpful and friendly. thought it was just a "little" closer to town, but that's o.k. after seeing the town..wouldnt want to be in the middle of all the rush,etc... group grilling area is very nice, down by the ocean, they provide a refrig,etc. for you down in that area also..just for keeping your grilling goods in if you have to wait for a grill. no complaints here...good value for the money..

We stayed at Awesome Kona Condo for the fourth time and it is a home away from home. We love it there, it is clean, quiet and lovely surroundings including the people. We are going back for a month next year! Janice is wonderful, caring and generous. We love the location, central to everything. We love to go down to the "wall" and watch the waves, especially in the evening. So romantic!

My wife and I stayed in Kona Awesome Condo and had a wonderful stay. It was like having our own personal apartment in Hawaii. The reviews we read were all perfect and we can't wait to go back. We have already booked another trip for June! The owner was extremely helpful in telling us all the great spots to visit. I would recommend this condo to EVERYONE! Thanks so much!

We just stayed in KonaAwesomeCondo and were pleasantly surprised. We had read many nice reviews and they were all true. The condo was fully supplied and was a very reasonable place for our family to stay. The owner was so kind and generous and even had a gift for us when we arrived. The customer service was also outstanding. We felt like the owner was our friend. The condo was really really clean and everything was brand new. We had stayed in another unit 3 years back and it was very rundown. KonaAwesomeCondo is a great place and we were very happy. Higly recommended.

Very nice right on the water with a beautiful courtyard. Waves crash on the sea wall at night. No beach but hard to find one anyway in Kona. You can walk a mile up the road to a public beach or walk a mile down the road into Kailua-Kona. Excellent location. You'll sleep like a baby after a nice fresh fish cookout in the courtyard and a couple of glasses of wine with the residents under the tiki torches. Almost heaven ;-)
