Days Inn Portland South, Clackamas

We arrived and got to our room, no microwave! They moved us to a so called suiet room 149 and it's surrounded by smoking rooms!!! A non smoking room should never be there!!!!! We were too tired of dealing with them so we took it. The staff uses Pine Sole so strongly it made my husband start to cough. The towels have so much bleach they smelled bad and were very scratchy/hard. I used a whole can of air freshener to ward off the evil odors. It did no good. I was up all night long washing everything we brought. The computer in the loby is extreamly slow and useless. We needed directions and could not get them. We paid cash for our room. Beware of them when they ask for a credit card to hold a 25 dollar fee incase you charge movies or make calls. I regret not paying them cash all the way. A week AFTER we checked out they have charged out personal account for almost 300 dollars. We almost could not pay our bills and could of had overdraft fees!!! They do not know how to pay attention to credit card numbers and how to do acounting. We did not rent any movies or call anyone either. We only stayed one night and there was no reason for the charges. They have been giving excuses for 2 days straight. PJ was to call my husband back BUT DID NOT leave him a message!!! With the money amount as high at it is, it should be a priority to get it back to us quickly. Go the extra mile and call us back from home if he had to. The hotel is dated and the bed left both of us in pain all day long. the couch in our room left me walking like an 100yr old person..... Time for a remodel!!!! Pay attention to the statements they give you. They gave us some one else's credi card account and now someone has ours.....Once this is done we will have to change everything..... I do not recommend this place to anyone.
