Atlantis Lodge, Atlantic Beach

My husband and I took our 2 year old son there this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I took lots of pictures of the pool area, because I would love to design a similar idea for my home one day. It was beautiful! Yes, the place is older. However, it was like staying in a beach cottage, instead of a fancy hotel that doesn't feel very "beachy" at all. Another "older" hotel down the street was charging $15 more per night, and wasn't nearly as welcoming or clean looking. We loved it and will be back again soon!

My family goes to the Atlantis every June. We love it because we can take our dog and sit on the balcony and see the ocean. We already have reservations for next year and I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Everyone is friendly and we had no problems at all. Never have. They take care of our needs and its a lovely place to visit! Our room has always been clean and service was great!

We came to the Atlantis year after year. We stayed twice a year, one at spring rates in June, then full rate in August. It was friendly, great location, and great price - yes, the furniture was dated, one bed, but the pool was great and every room as a view. But then the price skyrocketed! We moved on - it is overpriced at this point - unless it has been totally renovated. Maybe northerners can pay the price, but we NC citizens miss the old days of a great long weekend get away.

My folks are real ocean people they were taking me down to that place since I was a kid of only 4, know I'm 26 and I'm still not tired of it.

My hun and I just returned from a weekend stay at Atlantis lodge and we loved it! We were right on the beach and only paid $80 for a double room! At night you sleep with your room door open and the sound of the waves are amazing!!! The hotel is a little older but it is still a great place and for the location you can't beat it!!! Definitely will be staying here from now on!!! I definitely tell any and everyone to stay here!!!

Right now i'm staying in the atlantis and It is really cool! The beach,pool and the lounge is great and it's pet friendley! i am really enjoy it.

Upon entering the drive to the Atlantis Lodge, one senses that one has found the "uncommon" among the common vacation retreats along the Crystal Coast of NC. The grounds are lush, inviting to creatures of flight, along with those of us who long for a escape from the daily routines of life! Staff treats guests more like family than vacationers and are readily available to help. The accommodations are somewhat retro, and are a definite plus to the rooms. The balconies give a pristine view of the atlantic, along with the grounds below, which are filled with native foliage. The library and game room offer an respite to young and young at heart.... The atmosphere of the Atlantis defines what a vacation truly is....

This place has wonderful view, fair pricing, and pet friendly! The pool is nice and in a natural environment. The atmosphere is the most amazing part of the experience. It feels like a home away from home!

If you have dogs, this is the place to stay. They have sheets on the couches and a sheet to put over the bedspread so don't worry if your pooch can't stay on the floor. The motel is right on the ocean, so you can quickly get from your room to the ocean for dog walks. The staff is very friendly and all of the guests are dog friendly; this is a stress free place to go have fun with your pets. We saw someone playing the banjo and two women clogging in an outdoor common area on Sunday afternoon; this is a really laid back, friendly place to stay. Can't say enough good things about it.

I have stayed at the Atlantis for 20 years or longer, and I always look forward to my return trip. If I had it my way, I would go down in April and not return home till November!
