Unacceptable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/08
The smell in the room was horrible. We noticed when we arrived in the room a man's sock that had been left in the floor at the head of the bed. We left it there. It was STILL there when we left 2 days later after the cleaning person had supposedly cleaned the room twice. I hope this tells you about the cleanliness of this place! Carpet was despicable. I assume that accounted for the horrible smell. Think twice about this place.

Here, You get what you pay for!
By swimdad, 03/12/08
You walk into a nice lobby area but past it the hotel in run down. The rooms smell somewhat and have a worn out feel. The AC/Heating controlls...I've never seen before; it did work though. The fitness room is a JOKE! The room was dusty, and the equipment had to bought from a yard sale. Two of the three items were broke. Wireless access was hard to find even in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was very good. I paid $50 a night...I got what I paid for.

Low for a reason
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/17/08
The room rates are lower than some other hotels in the area because the building and furnishings are crumbling. We passed on the first room we were assigned as it had crusty things on the folded down blanket and muddy footprints in the bathroom floor. The exterior path to first room was an obstacle course of ceiling parts from a recent flood...things like that. So we were given a 'king suite' instead. The sheets seemed clean, but didn't match, even in color. Drawer handles unapologetically hung from one screw, if there were handles at all. Air return cover was rusty. The exterior door to the 2nd room of the suite didn't have a security brace. The florescent lights in the hall stay on all night and the curtains in the room are NOT room darkening enough for this not to matter. The building is OLD and the furnishings look to be from a hotel close out auction. HOWEVER, the staff was very helpful and quick in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible in this somewhat stinky old building. But they could not offer us a receipt as we checked out using the excuse that we paid online. This was unreasonable as most places can pull a receipt at any time. No, we won't stay here again. We'll pay the extra and go across the street just for the peace of mind.

Do not stay here! It could make you sick!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/07
I won't write a very long review because I plan to write quite a few of these but here's the basics: 1) The rooms smell horrible! Very musty like an old abandoned building. 2) Dirty, sticky carpets. 3) Mold. I can't be absolutely sure but I believe it to be black mold. I have pictures to prove this! I just wish that I had found this on our first day instead of our last. 4) Unfriendly, rude staff. 5) Very narrow halls with huge open windows. It would be very easy for someone to fall out of them. 6) CREEPY, not very well lit parking garage. 7) Holes in blankets and towels Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

STAY AWAY!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/07
This place lives up to all of its poor reviews and then some. The only good thing about it is its location. The rooms are dirty, the air conditioner is very noisy, and the hotel is in dire need of renovation. After returning home, we saw that we could have stayed (based on availability) at a much newer Days Inn in the Grand Ole Opry area for less money. Drive the extra couple of miles to stay at a nicer place, and you will be happy you did. We will not be returning here!

Dont Go Here
By PAR195, 04/13/07
This place is a roach motel. The hotel stinks, the door wont close, the pool is nasty. I was afraid to sleep here and my wife would not take a shower.

Questionable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/07
I liked where it was located. It was a straihgt shot to where I was going. Everything was fine until I got ready to take my shower. The water wouldn't even come on. This was something I knew they had to be aware of. If the water in the shower didn't work that means it was highly possible that the tub had not been cleaned. (Not A Pleasant Thought) This place needs some work done. Things need to be replaced. If you can find somewhere else nice to stay do so. If not, check everything before settling for the room you get. The service was good, friendly staff. I would reccomend a construction crew use this Hotel. Oh by the way, they let us use the shower in another room. I
