Hampton Inn Bloomington, Bloomington

We stayed at this hotel with three small dogs. There was no charge for the dogs and no hassle whatsoever. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. There was really good coffee available in the lobby 24-hour a day and you can walk to Denny's next door. We got a discounted room rate because we were visiting someone in the Meadowood retirement community which is right nearby. I loved our stay there and would never stay anywhere else in Bloomington.

This is a well maintained, clean hotel just a short drive from the IU campus. The front desk staff is polite and helpful. They'll give you free, cold bottled water at the front desk if you ask. The rooms were spotless. Our comforters were white and looked brand new. There's a decent breakfast in the morning. Fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, cereals and milk, english muffins/biscuits with egg patties and either sausage or ham patties, donuts, coffee. etc. It's a non-smoking hotel (hooray!). There's free internet hook up in the room and a free computer with printer in the lobby. Please be aware that the beds in the standard room are Doubles-not Queens. If you have a child one bed and two wide adults sharing the other, it can get tight.

Staff was amazing. We were helped by Tammy the Manager and she was the best. We were lost when we first arrived in Bloomington and she naviagted us right to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and we loved the fresh baked cookies. Keep up the good work Tammy!!

I stayed in this hotel for about a week during the 2004 elections. For the money, this property is a safe bet. It's a clean economy hotel that offers a free breakfast, high speed wireless internet and fresh baked cookies if I recall. That staff was helpful and polite.

What a beautiful hotel. Much more than you would expect of a Hampton Inn. The staff was amazing. The rooms were completely beautiful. Job well done Hampton Inn.
