Motel 6, Mobile

We stayed 3 nights and over-all our experience was very good. The staff is excellent - very friendly and accommodating. The room, although small, was clean and obviously recently renovated. The location is good and the grounds well kept. Our complaints are minor: the only toiletry provided was soap. No shampoo, alarm clock, nor ‘do not disturb’ sign provided. I thought having no hair dryer or iron was inconvenient as well. Also, we had a difficult time maintaining an Internet connection, but that could have been due to the bad weather. The pros (excellent staff, price, location and room was clean) far out weigh the cons. We definitely recommend this motel.

i went to a class in mobile and picked motel 6 because of the location. On the first day the pool was full of kids that wasn't even staying there. On the second day the pool was closed and even if it would have been opened i would not have gotten in because it was so dirty. On the thrid day police was all over the place becaused a criminal was staying there. Crackheads was walking around trying to sell beer. The room was small with no microwave or refrigirater. I advise anybody with just a little bit of class to not stay there.

Th estay there was scary at first and sometimes inbetween. First day the room we got was nasty, roach infested, broken down beds and stains everywhere. The next tenants were sleeping with door open during the day, coolers(2) were left outside the door. We complained and they give us a much better room on the oppisite side.No internet connection. Still drug dealings were going on all the time, kids running wild and drunk parting parents were loud and did not control their kids or theirselves. Not recommended for families, partiers yes.

There are about 10 motels, and hotels to choose in this area off of the highway. I chose Motel 6, because they are norammaly the least exspensive and plus I was tired. This is probaly the worse Motel 6 i have ever stayed in. They had no high spped internet, which is a bummer for those of us who want to check our email after being on the weary road for so long. There were bed bugs, and it was horrifying to wake up to such bites. The motel was way over priced at $47 a night. For $20 I could have stayed at another motel/hotel with much more amenities and much cleaner. To top it off, there was no free coffee as advertised online. Stay away from this motel at all costs..
