Knights Inn, Atlantic City

i think this was summed up already i was hospitalized with an infection after going there and had the feeling of insects running on me at all times , later on i received a horrible rash from the linen uhhhhuhhh never again

The outside of this hotel looked pretty trashy, but as you walk in it actually looks pretty nice. We should have known it was a bad hotel because there were 3 people ahead of us complaining about something wrong in there room! We stayed on the 2nd floor which upon entering was scortching hot!! Our room was just the same! The keys to our door didn't work and when we asked them to fix it they acted as if we were a bother to them! The AC did not work very well at all! It was basically warm air coming out! It was actually cooler outside then inside! When we asked for maintenance, they never sent anyone up to fix it even after the 3rd time of asking for it! The service was completely awful! The beds were hard so no sleeping was done and the toilet ran the whole time! The bathroom did not look clean at all either. There was also no remote to the tv and the whole room smelled weird. Smoking rooms were actually right across the hall from non-smoking rooms! Our safe also did not work correctly and again upon asking for service we were treated as if we were bothering the front desk personel while she was busy talking to her boyfriend at 1:30am!! If you have other options, skip over this hotel! It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at!!

What can I say that the other reviewers said? Room had heat...it was overpowering. We had the AC on all day and night...in Feb....and the room was comfortable then. Like the other guests that wrote a review, some of the electrical outlets didn't work, the door wouldn't shut alll the way, there were only about a dozen stations available on the TV, there was a big mark on the plastic window curtain, and overall the place looks like it had been hammered pretty well. They totally fouled up our reservation. We reserved a non-smoking room w/ a king size bed-we got a smoking room with 2 twins. We asked for a discount since the room was less than what we asked for, and we were given a card for 20% off our next stay...as if we'd actually put ourselves through staying there again. Take our word for it...just pass it by!

From the second we walked into our room...oh wait...we couldn't even get a key to work on our door the whole time we were there. Needless to say, the room smelled. We went to turn the lights on, they were unplugged, when we went to plug the lights into the wall, the outlets were so broken and barely in the wall, I seriously concidered the safety of the room (fire hazard). Then we had no remote control, our front door wouldn't close (could be why our key never ever worked, even after we had two different managers come to the room to open our door and I think four key replacements) you think they would have gotten the idea that it wasn't working. The deadbolt was also cracked and half hanging on the door. I wouldn't stay there EVER again; I couldn't wait to get up in the morning and get OUT of the room. I would have rather slept in my car!

Don't even consider this place unless you're on a getaway from the ghetto. Then of course, you'll feel right at home. The pics on their site make it look good and honestly they do look familiar to me but what you can't see should scare you. You can't see how dirty, dirty, dirty the place is and you also can't smell the terrible odor either. It's hard for me to understand how Quality Inn would allow their name on the building.

my overall experience at this particular motel made me feel as though i was in an episode of cops,waiting for them to bust in the room. First and formost the location is far, not so close as stated on the website or as told by me from the hotel staff. Thank god the weather was warm and we endured the walk.upon arrival at the motel the front desk clerk did'nt even greet us she just took our info and gave us the room key. As we walked to the room we seen the countless amount of people just hanging out around the motel this alone did not make me feel secure and the noise from the adjoining rooms was unbearable nearly stood up the whole night. But before all of that i checked the bedding the linen and towels were so dingy and had hair on them . The room was just a horrible mess i will never go to this motel ever and i was so surprised because this is a quality inn chain how terrible is that , someone needs to cut this chain!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is one night i will never forget,for what they charge you, do not get alot.

i did not find the room to be very cleaned i found dirty stain on the sofa sit and the furniture they use seems old and dirty. it smelled like the smoking room when i asked for a non smoking room. i found a hair in the toilet sit and the distance from the hotel to the boardwalk was tooo far. i also want to say that the picture shown in the website about the hotel does not look at all like that in person! i expected more! i really feel they need to update this hotel with new furniture not stained one and more of a real feeling of staying. i will never stay here again!!!!

very unclean, too far from the strip, very very dirty overall.
