Green Granite Inn, North Conway

We stayed here as it was cheap and close to North Conway. We were not expecting much due to the low price but we were expecting the rooms to be clean and the staff friendly. They were not. The staff were unhelpful, the rooms were dirty (the mirror had toothpaste on it, the tub had hair in the drain, the carpet needed to be cleaned, and there was dust everywhere), and the amenities which looked good on the website were old, outdated, and in many cases broken or not usable. Breakfast was cold and stale. We will not be coming back nor can we recommend this place to anyone. Oh, I forgot to add that the rooms must have paper thin walls because we could hear a couple having sex in the room next to ours...not really something you want your kids to fall asleep to.

I used to love this hotel, but one time I stayed there and I went to go for a swim, and as I jumped in my eyes and skin began to sting and burn badly. They had just shocked the pool and not told anyone about it, or closed it down. We received no apologies for the bad experience.

This was one of the most worst places i have ever been to. We (me and my family) were on a trip to see some other family and my child was sick and the heat just wasn't working and we were only staying for one night. After many complaints they finally sent someone up to look at the heat vent, but it never got fixed. We ended up staying in our family's house....the food and the pool and hot tub were very though jus service that was awful.

Its a decent place, but the service is pretty weak, and the wireless internet connection doesnt work 3/4 of the time. For the amount of options in North Conway, you would think this place would try harder.

How to ruin a great vacation in New Hampshire, get ripped off at the "Green Granite Inn" in North Conway! We paid 3X what the room was worth, but then we booked in late. With the large Factory Outlet stores, all the hotels get booked up early so you pay an arm and a leg if you get there late. The room was not clean, very noisy, and for well over $200.00 they didn't even supply a box of Kleenex. Stay clear of this one....

We have been renting a condo unit for many years and it was wonderful. However, on our last trip we were disappointed they removed the washers/dryers and in the appearance of the units. Hopefully, they have replaced them and did some remodelling.

we loved the service, the staff was very helpful, & friendly. they clean the room always spotless. we just wish they were a pet friendly Inn/hotel. that would be such a plus for us. but,we understand .because of people who don't take care of thier pets ruien it for others who do. thats not fair to us/others.maybe if they took a bigger dept. just incase of certain situations. otherwise they are awsome .thier breakfast is very satisfying.great omlets. the food trays & hot food pans are never empty & always hot. the pools indoor &out were always spotless ,& the playground was a big plus also.this place is our favorite indeffinetly.!!!!!!!! except the "no pets" thing. they are our family too.

i stayed here with my sister and her two kids and we had a BLAST!! from the time we walked in we were made to feel like family. The front desk staff always seemed to be in a good mood, and the housekeepers were very helpful, bringing us extra towels, and shampoo. The rooms were clean, though a little dusty around the edges. The breakfast (Free by the way!) was really yummy! We had omelets the first morning and pancakes the second day! so good. the kids loved the indoor pool and the lobby with all the animals. will definately stay again! can't wait!

I was very disappointed in the suite we rented. The rugs were disgusting. The fridge and a/c were both not working. The sliding glass door did not work. Our room was not ready until 1 1/2 hours after we were told we could check-in. The staff at the desk was not helpful. They came to fix the fridge after we called three times. They couldn't fix it so they unplugged it and wheeled in a mini fridge that didn't fit half of our stuff. It is very discouraging to spend this kind of money on a suite and have it all be bad. I will never stay at The Green Granite again.
