The Flagship Inn is located in the scenic New England town of Groton. Each morning, guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast served until noon. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. Guests will also find popcorn and ice cream available in the lobby. Complimentary parking and fax service are available. The motel is ten miles from Connecticut College and approximately 15 miles from Foxwoods Casino, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, and the Mystic Museum. Mohegan Sun Casino is about 20 miles from the hotel. The closest airport is TF Green, located just outside Providence, Rhode Island, about 40 miles from the property. Each room has air-conditioning, coffeemaker, complimentary USA Today newspaper, microwave, private bathroom with shower and tub, private entrance, queen-size or double beds, refrigerator with freezer, table with two chairs, telephone with free local calls, and television with HBO and pay-per-view movies. Hairdryers, alarm clock radios, irons, and ironing boards are also available at the front desk.

Great place to stay - highly recommend Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was beautiful, convenient to downtown. The staff were really marvelous, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was one of the best hotels on our trip through the States last month. Would definitely book there again.

We enjoyed our visit. Loved the decor and the vibe. Wish our trip would have lasted longer! I can't wait to come back, I really don't want to leave. Such a great hotel with great staff. Keep up the great work!

Room was spacious but smelled very bad, there was a strong odor of paint and dust. Door into the bathroom opened only half way. The water pressure in the toilet and shower was very low, barely useful. Towels that are supposed to be white color were dark grey, dirty, folded nicely but not fresh, I found someone's hair on three towels, or at least on those three that I chose to use. There was hair over toilet seat. The complementary toiletries were used, the body lotion bottle was almost empty. i travel often but had never seen a place so unclean. Bed linens were not fresh, evrything looked and smelled well worn, and pillows were so flat and well used. I was sleeping fully dressed and placed my own clothes over their bed linens to try to get some rest and not catch any disease. Hope not to bring bedbugs home. Paid $100 to get few hours of sleep before hitting the road home and greatly regret it. if it wasnt 3am I would have looked elsewhere for lodging. The good thing this motel is conveniently located around many local area attractions.

Recommend the Place, nice and quiet place

The place from the outside look old, breakfast was OK.., Rooms are specious and clean. Rooms include HBO, coffeemaker, and wireless internet. Recommend this place for basic accommodation.

excellent place to stay

Very nice overall. Traveling for a spring break rooms are much better then what is described in most of the reviews. Looked like the place is recently been renovated. Very clean and fresh linen and towels. nice pressurized shower.

I wouldn't stay here again.

I have found great hotel rates for great hotels in the past, this was not the case. I paid a cheap price and that's exactly what I got. Very run-down hotel, peeling paint in the bathroom. One morning the toilet wasn't flushing properly and when I called the office, I was told I would have to come to the office to get a plunger. After stating, "You want me to do it myself?" I was told she would have the housekeeper take care of it. I left about 1/2 hour later to go to Boston for the day, thinking it would be taken care of. I returned about 14 hours after calling and the toilet still was not fixed. The refrigerator was noisy, Continental breakfast consisted of tiny donuts and hard bagels (no toaster, butter or cream cheese.) The housekeepers showed up once when I was there and one of them had body odor so badly, the smell remained even after they had left. There are lot of other hotels in the area; I strongly suggest staying elsewhere.

Excellent place !! Clean rooms

Everything with our stay at the Flagship inn was excellent. The room was very clean and had a fridge microwave, coffee maker. Rooms are fairly new looks like they have been remodeled, all in all excellent stay for the money.

Horrible place

Horrible, terrible We book this inn via hotwire. This hotel is so horrible. Room and bathroom are full of smell and stink on it. I won't recommend for anyone to stay over night.

horrible!!!!

booked through hotwire. arrived to see two people in the lobby complaining about the rotting smell in their room. staff wouldn't honor the hotwire price and insisted on getting an additional $25 before they'd let me check in. needing a place to stay, i was ready to give them the $25 but said i'd want to see the room first, especially after the couple's complaints. they wouldn't let me see the room i was going to check into, and the hotel manager started yelling at me for asking. it was incredible. there's a nice red roof inn nearby...i'd recommend that if you're trying to save money. if i could give this place a lower rating i would.
