Pleasantly Surprised.
Nice place. Sure, it's probably behind in some of the upkeep, like painting, but it was comfortable enough. Despite being quite near the freeway, it wasn't even noticeable in our room.
This place is just outside the south end of town so, if you're the type that wants to be right in the middle of everything, this might not be the place for you.
Rooms were real large, but were clean with all the amenities; coffee, tv/vcr, hair dryer, wireless internet (even a safe in the closet to lock up your valuables). Ours had the largest refrigerator we've ever had in a motel room.
Nice pool with a garden area around it and all the bottom floor rooms had sliding glass doors that open towards the swimming pool.
There's rolling hills to the west of the Inn that seem to be the hangout for a number of deer. I counted five does and five bucks an hour before sundown.
They also have a breakfast room with free continental breakfast along with the Garden Court restaraunt in the next room. My only complaint was the coffee and such in the breakfast room didn't seem to be refilled regularly, with other guests having to find motel staff to get things refilled.
I was pleasantly surprised. I'll be back.
