Fern River Resort, Felton

NEED A REST....GO TO FERN RIVER RESORT. WONDERFUL MANAGEMENT, VERY CLEAN CABINS, WONDERFUL VIEWS, VERY RESTFULL PLUS CLOSE TO TOWN IF YOU NEED IT.

Fern River Resort was just what i needed....Relaxing, spotlessly clean, owner's and manager go beyond their means to make you feel at home. I will now make this an annual vacation. Also loved how close you are to towns for dining and shopping and sie seing. GREAT PLACE! Judy Deppiesse

Great peaceful, clean, and well reun mountian resort. A housekeeping resort with cabins across a sliver of a river, from the Heney Cowell Redwood Park. Cabins are updated, but still have the vintage feeling of years past. The resort is well posted as to the operation of equipment, as well as the dos and don'ts. Owners and managers live on the property, keeping disorderly conduct to a minumim, which is a plus for seniors and fanilies. A great place to play house,and to get away from the hub bub, noise, and traffic of greater Santa Cruz. But, still close enough (5 mi. away) for day visiting.

Quiet and restful individual cottages with no noise from kids up stairs. Thank you for a great stay.

It's too bad this place is run by this couple. The wife is very rude and acts strange. The cabins are clean, but sparse. There are little signs everywhere, even next to the toilet, on the bathroom mirror, kitchen, etc. about what to do, what not to do, what you'll be charged if you get makeup on the towels and it goes on. It's really a discomfort when you're trying to relax and you MUST abide by all these rules. Towels are awful and the price one pays for these cabins, you'd think a little bit of free shampoo would be included. Bring your own soap as theirs is cheap. I will not go back as long as they own these cabins and it's a shame because the setting is so beautiful and very convenient to get to.
