Acacia Lodge, Carmel Valley

This hotel makes it's money by ripping off people who didn't check it out ahead of time. The place is a total dump. The office and staff are in a different office a half mile away. The beds are uncomfortable, the sheets polyester, the pool dirty. I mean, seriously, it's all around bad. As for the "lodge" it's one of those 1950s style motor lodges with all the rooms in a circle around the pool. Cinderblock walls, cracks in the driveway. They haven't redone the place in decades.
