Thunderbird Motel, Bishop

I seen the Thunderbird Motel on their Facebook page and then I booked a room on there website and I must say everything was just as I was expecting it to be. 5 *****

When I stayed hear I felt right at home, everything was top line for the price. You want to stay hear.

Ok let me start off by saying I think this place is a true gem its right across the street from the yummy Jacks restaurant and the rooms are beautiful, the beds made me never want to get up and the family that run the place made me feel right at home. The Bishop Thunderbird Motel gets an A++ in my book

We decided not to stay in our usual place in Bishop and to try out the Thunderbird on our last road trip. We are so glad we did. it was a most wonderful surprise! the staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and super clean.

Very clean rooms and property. Staff was wonderful and made the trip very easy. Will definitely stay there again. Had two rooms and both were spotless and nice

I've been hearing about the Thunderbird for quite a while--my husband and his climbing buddies often stay there--but I got first-hand experience this past weekend, when I joined my husband and teenage son in Bishop to provide moral support and transportation for a summit attempt. The hike didn't happen, unfortunately, but I'll definitely stay in the Thunderbird when we try it again next time.

The Thunderbird is a great place to stay if vacationing in Bishop or traveling up the mountain to Mammoth. We have stayed here several times before and it is a great location. It is within Walking distance to almost all the restaurants in town and is a good deal for the value.

We drove from Death Valley to Bishop expecting an average, cheap motel. This place is lovely, spacious, and well-run, and is in the heart of town in walking distance to restaurants and stores. Don't stay anyplace else in Bishop

Looking for a place to stop for the night on our way to Reno, we decided Bishop looked a good bet compared to the other small towns we'd driven through, and the Thunderbird looked pretty good from outside. It's right off main street and near to everything. Staff were friendly, the room nice and comfortable. The bed was large, and the room also has a big chest of draws, TV, table and chairs. Bathroom clean and functional. Overall, it was a good location and value for money.

We really have no complaints. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was nicely decorated and had nice beds plus a great shower/tub. Check-in was very easy and the staff were very friendly and efficient. If I ever return to Bishop, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
