don't stay, nice amenties my foot! we stayed there 2009 Christmas week and would never stay again, heater smelled bad, ac didn't work, bulb was out, room smoke alarm went off due to low battery and they didn't fix it, one of two chairs was so heavily soiled we didn't use it, buttons on remote were missing, no channels on television, maybe one good channel, bed was flat, pillows were flat, towels were old and worn, good thing the only we did do in it was sleep, we were at Disneyland for 14 plus hours while we were there, continental breakfast consisted of stale pastries, the most undrinkable coffee, and two choices of cold cereal, oh and stale bread to toast in a toaster that took forever... really bad... hotel

On entering the room you immediately get hit in the face with a musty smell. The TV is an old style tube type & there's no... the shower was broken the rooms are terrible I will never back, i do not recomend this hotel

Carriage Inn states that it is only 2.5 blocks from Disneyland. It is closer to 4 blocks from Disneyland, 4 very long blocks. On our last day at Disneyland we drove and paid for parking at the amusment park. The Carriage Inn is a minimal hotel. They could charge a little more per night and get a shuttle, it would be worth the expense. If you are just passing through for a night then this hotel is fine, but for a few days at Disneyland go somewhere else.

It seems this the people in this establishment do little or nothing to accommodate the customers. We tried to register & drop off our luggage a bit early & take off to LA to do some shopping. No shower, no change of clothing... just leave the bags. We're talking 11am here. The clerk repeated several times that check in is at 2pm & not a minute sooner. On entering the room you immediately get hit in the face with a musty smell. The TV is an old style tube type & there's no cable, only antenna reception. The beds are obviously very old & not particularly comfortable since they're lumpy. The pillows are also old & worn & do not offer much support. The worst part of this bad experience was the bathroom. They give you these tiny bars of soap that fall apart when take out of the wrapping. Barely big enough for 1 or 2 uses. You turn on the shower & it starts out warm. Just as your beginning to enjoy it, there's an immediate change to COLD. This temperature fluctuation continues throughout the session. We stayed on the 3rd floor so when the elevator broke down, it was very inconvenient. It took them 3 days to fix it. The continental breakfast was a joke! No fruit, bad coffee, Frosted Flakes the only cereal offered, no orange juice except for the Tang style powdered kind, and some day old pastry. At $100+ per night, this place is not worth it! This is 1 of the worst motels/hotels I have ever stayed in!

Good luck finding a place to park late at night. We got taped in the parking lot and had to go to the office and have the truck moved.

On April 1, 2008 at about 4:45PM, I called to contact family who is staying in their hotel. The line was busy and the receptionist indicated for me to call again and that they do not take messages in that hotel. I called again 15 minutes and hanged up thinking my cell phone did not connect. I called again right away and the same receptionist confronted me about not answering the phone a minute again. I told him he is very rude and asked for his name. He refused to give me his name. My husband called and told him how rude he was to me and he stated that I was calling every minute which was a lie. He also refused to give his name and when my husband asked for a supervisorstated, he stated that he is the boss there. Up to this point, I am still unable to contact my family visiting LA from Manila Philippines.

don't waste your money!! Such a dirty place ever been in my life. Very dirty room with rats and roaches. The price was very low because location was far from Disneyland. I would pay little more to stay cleaner place. Do not choose this one!!!!!

I usually don't take these reviews seriously because most people don't write them unless they had a bad experience! I figure there are more people with good experiences that just don't write...well, I don't think that anymore! I wish I would have taken these reviews seriously and stayed somewhere else!So here I am...writing...guess what...WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE! Thought I would share it. The price and pictures on the hotels website looked great....so we ignored the reviews and stayed anyway. NEVER AGAIN! We arrived at 3 p.m. to check in and our room was ready, which was nice...however, WE HAD NO AIR CONDITIONING! Our room was on the Harbor Blvd. Street side so getting air from the outside was out of the question - TOO LOUD! They did allow us to move the next morning and in our haste to move rooms to get to Disneyland early we left one cellphone charger behind....which DISAPPEARED! We checked the room when we returned that day and there was no charger and no one 'found' it! Hummm....some of the Mickey Mouse magic? The rooms - are just ok. Beds not comfortable, towels are OLD almost gray color and feel like sand paper! We did not have any batteries in our TV remote and night clerk did not have access to any. The rooms are very dated!!! The pool: DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE! All the furniture is broken, no plants surround it...it is just a pool and hot tub surrounded by cement and broken furniture. Their website states WIRELESS INTERNET IN YOUR ROOM....NOT!!! Signal doesn't go that far and if you do get a signal it is $2 for 1 hour. The hotel clerk insisted on making our reservations for the Airport Shuttle instead of giving us the number. (I had planned to get online to make the reservation...but HAD NO INTERNET ACCESS!) After being picked up by the shuttle we were told that she charged us $2 a person to make the reservation for us!!! EVERY DESK CLERK WAS RUDE AND SAID - SORRY WE CAN'T HELP YOU WITH THAT....if it had anything to do with the room or hotel......but they were happy to help with transportation! The ART transportation to Disneyland: SLOW! We spent a lot of time waiting for the crowded buses! The hotel only had 1-day passes, which ended up costing us a little more in the long run. When I go back I will spend the money to stay at a place closer to the Disneyland entrance! We HATED this location!

Honestly, I couldn't stand for 3 days, everything was worst,the service, the breakfast, and manily the employers, who don't know how to behave with guests. Indeed, Whatever you ask them, there ansewer would be "I Don't NO". Even for the internet i went to the front hotel, where I found so helpful employer even though i wasn't her guest. Go any where else, but don't ever go over there...It's the waste of time and money, garbage!!!!!!

I stayed one day in this hotel . It supposed to stay 3days. This motel is really dirty and service was so bad. There were cockroaches. I hate that kind of bucks. Later, I moved to another hotel. I heard from acquaintance that anaheim carriage inn has mouse, too. Also they advertise the free shuttle and close disneyland. But one mile distance to Disneyland as well as I need to buy shuttle tickets. They lie. I realized how important to decide a good hotel to have good condition while my trip.
