A West Yellowstone Secret
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/08
We found the Lazy G on the internet and decided to make a 3 day reservation based on the reviews. Hate to give a glowing review because we make not be able to get another reservation but they deserve it. Quiet location, neat and clean inside and out although appearance from the street can be misleading. Pleasant and thoughtful owner. We were disappointed that she did not have a vacancy for us to stay another day.

This is the place to stay!
By asya, 07/07/08
If I have any complaints about this motel, its that I didn't stay there longer! The service was great and the owner, Janice, and her niece, Uni, were the perfect hosts! There is a nice kitchen, and the rooms are quaint. But, there are so many extra touches that make this place special...unlike other hotel/motels, the soaps and shampoos are not so crappy that you would prefer to go unwashed for several days. Instead, you get a variety of name brands like Pantene Pro-V, Head and Shoulders, Caress Body Wash, etc. Janice even noticed which ones we used the most and gave us extra packets the next day. The location is ideal, only a few minutes walk from the center of West Yellowstone, which is granted, small, but nice. The park entrance is about 2 or 3 minutes away by car, and even though there is probably no ideal location in Yellowstone park (everything is far, the park is huge), the West entrance seemed to be relatively ideal.

not even got there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
I tried to make a reservation, but even after 5 days they did not even response to my rate and availability request. Maybe that is how they got the "Lazy" part intheir name. So, I decided to book somewhere else.

Best vbalue in West Yellowstone
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
You won't find more accomodating owners or a cleaner place to stay. Many extra touches with many extra smiles. Great central location with a new "hot tub" room.

Down to earth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/07
This was a place that my wife and I found by accident, but what a nice and comfortable place. The owners are very friendly, and make sure you have every thing you need, and then some. we can onestly say that out of the dozen or so times that we've been to yellowstone that this was one of the best places we've stayed. For the price you can't do better. this is one of those places you'll return to time and time again.

A great deal!
By iamu, 09/10/06
This place was downright comfortable. The room was big and clean. Location is great, right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone. Owner is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Family-Friendly Spot
By L, 07/17/06
Lazy G is a great spot to stay for a family! The 2-bedroom family unit was adorable and comfortable. The unit is roomy for a family of four. The living room area was cozy and the small kitchenette was perfect for making breakfasts and for preparing a picnic lunch for the day. It is a well-maintained and quiet motel. Owners are super friendly and helpful with suggestions for your activities. Motel is located on the quiet side of town, but still a short walk to the downtown area, and a short drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Also conveniently located for a drive to Hebgen Lake and Big Sky area. Will definitely stay again when in the area and will recommend to family and friends traveling to Yellowstone!

The best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/06
Small out of the way motel with "super hosts". It's very clean. The owners make you feel like family. It's the only place we'll stay when we're visiting Yellowstone. Rod and Carlotta Prouty Knob Noster, Missouir

nice small place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/06
Nothing to dislike. Nice location, 15 rooms, friendly owners and our next stay will be for the fourth time. Excellent in all categories, have stayed in many more expensive places that are not as nice as the Lazy G. Highly recommend.
