Description

The log cabin-style Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is located on Highway 89, one mile from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and approximately 95 miles from Gallatin Field Airport. Gardiner is located in Southwest Montana with the Yellowstone River running right through the middle of town. Visitors enjoy mountain views, rafting, and horseback riding in the area. Additional recreational activities include touring Yellowstone National park, hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, and biking. The hotel is 60 miles from Livingston and Interstate 90. Antler Pub & Grill is located inside the Comfort Inn Yellowstone North. The restaurant offers views overlooking Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area. The pub also features video gambling and Texas Hold'em poker games. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, free coffee, free weekday newspapers, and three oversized indoor hot tubs. All rooms feature are decorated with Montana-made rustic log furniture and ceiling fans, coffeemakers, hairdryers, free local calls, and cable TV.

This hotel really does have it all! Location is fantastic - just a walk away from the park, clean rooms fit for a family, service that is truly unbeatable and a rustic look that is just to die for.

Heavenly Hotel

To call this hotel "beautiful" or "immaculate" would be a harsh understatement. Granted, the hotel does has fantastic service, rates, and in an incredible city, the log cabin look of this place just yells "WARMTH" and "COMFORT!" and it does just that.

Just a stone throw away from Yellowstone Park, this hotel has it all: pool, service, cleanliness, great price, etc.! Also, great look of the place! Keep it up!!

Place has the better side of me, given that the prices are absolutely perfect. I love a good area with a way to stay on the safer side of a budget. I give the recommendation out purely for that! Have a new fan.

High price for a night in Gardnier

We exited Yellowstone knowing it was late in the afternoon and we MIGHT have a problem finding a room. All the campsites in YS were FULL by 10AM! We passed motel after motel and all we saw was NO VACANCY signs. Finally at the edge of town we spotted the Comfort Inn still had a room so we pulled in. $!*(.)) a night for a double room! (Thats all caps for $189.00!) I asked what was going on in town and the cashier smartly said "Summer". She told us about the free breakfast served at 7AM but since we had plans to be back in Yellowstone by 5AM in order to see the wildlife waking up we would be long gone. I asked if we could receive a discount, since we wouldn't be there for Bfast and all I got was a laugh and a deadpan expression. As it was the last room in town and we didn't want to drive to Livingston we took it, feeling used and abused ... The whole town appears "get their money" in a hurry. Prices were quite a bit higher than we experienced in other western towns. I paid $1.39 for a single peach at the local market!!!

We were very happy, 2 nights

First time in Yellowstone, first time in Gardiner and this hotel. The town is very small, consisting of motels, bars and restaurants primarily. VERY small. The Comfort Inn was great - huge room with whirlpool bath and view of the mtns that was gorgeous was about $130 a night on a weekend, I consider that a deal. Staff was terrific, food was great (we had breakfasts, which with coupon for staying there, for two is like $10 total! and some delicious appetizers one evening), bar upstairs very nice and you can eat there too. Hey, if you don't like stuffed animal heads I kind of sympathize but jeez, you're in MONTANA for gods sake. You won't regret it, maybe this was new management - june 2006. Enjoy.

Location only good thing

Located just outside the North gate is the best I can say about this Inn. The decor is disgusting offensive photos of dead hunted animals and mounts of the very animals that you come to see alive in the park. Not in keeping with a national chain hotel. Front desk unattended the entire stay.
